URGENT APPEAL! - MHRA 'Yellow Card' reports for all UK members

Featured Replies

Hey all UK members!

If you are from the UK and haven't yet submitted your 'Yellow Card' report to the MHRA please do this as soon as you can.

@Luke has been in contact and had in person meetings with them, and although they recognise that there are a lot more people harmed from Psych meds then reported, they can't do much more then they are without getting the numbers of reports up.

So, as much as it is the last thing on your mind right now, I would ask you all to strongly consider, going on and filling in your report. https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk

It is very easy to do. There will be no come back or judgement, they simply need to know what has happened to you.

In your report you can include all the symptoms you have experienced, by searching for each and selecting if it has resolved or if it is still an issue for you.

I would encourage you all to write a short, but more informative story, that you can include in the free text box at the bottom, as I suspect this is very helpful for them. They have insisted they read them all.

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT, COSTS NOTHING, THERE IS ZERO RISK TO YOU, AND IS ONE OF THE BEST WAYS YOU CAN HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE, PLEASE PLEASE DO IT TODAY!!!!! 🙂

I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. Please speak to your health practitioner about your care. This is a peer site where we support each other on our taper/recovery journeys.

If you are from the UK please make sure you fill in a 'Yellow Card' report for the MHRA. It is you doing your bit to help make a difference.

Please take the time to do it today 🙂 https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk

For US members details here.

Done. For anyone reading this, it takes a few minutes and can make a huge difference to those following behind us.

March 2024

Mirtazapine 15mg x 4 doses. Adverse reaction.

3 day break.

March 2024

Sertraline 50mg x 7 doses. Adverse reaction.

August and September 2024.
Diazepam 5mg x 3 daily for 6 weeks. These doses varied from 15 to 5mg daily until the last week where I was tapered from 10mg to 0 in 6 days.

Zopiclone daily. I would say I was on 7.5mg for 3 weeks and 3.75mg for 4 weeks.

Thank you @NBJ71.

I am due to meet with the MHRA again sometime later this year.

They emphasised that although they are getting feedback from patient voice surveys, psychiatrists working with withdrawal such as Mark Horowitz and so on, the number of direct reports of adverse reactions to these drugs they get are incredibly low. They need data to show that this is a significant problem.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes.
