March 30Mar 30 Story from SA: https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/forums/topic/30625-baronvontito-new-on-the-forum-18-years-of-paroxetine-paxil-do-i-need-to-stop-it-or-take-it-forever/#comment-678647 Hello everyone, A huge thank you to those who took the initiative to create this site after the closure of Surviving Antidepressants. Quick recap: 20 years of using paroxetine/Paxil, with a switch after 16 years to fluoxetine. I have never felt as bad as I do on fluoxetine. I’ve attached my history from SA above. Update: I’ve been on a pause from tapering since May 2025 to stabilize (2.2 mg of fluoxetine), as some symptoms had become a bit too intense. Up until May 2025, I was measuring my liquid dose using a pipette into a container, mixing it with water. It took about 15 minutes and was quite tedious. Sometimes I had 0.550 g, sometimes 0.553 g, sometimes 0.555 g. I saw a new psychiatrist in early March 2026, and he suggested an easier solution: a compounded capsule preparation made by a lab, with 1 mg capsules and 0.1 mg capsules. Much more practical — since March 4, 2026, I’ve been taking 2 capsules of 1 mg and 2 capsules of 0.1 mg, totaling 2.2 mg. The big problem started around March 20, 2026: I began sleeping poorly, waking up at 4 a.m., followed by repeated insomnia. I sleep a little, then insomnia again. I have a very strong feeling of unreality (DP/DR) that fluctuates. My facial expression looks very marked and sad, I don’t feel like smiling, I have crying spells, agitation before falling asleep, intrusive thoughts/impulse phobias, fear of losing control, and general anxiety… I feel like the form of the medication — even though it’s the same molecule — doesn’t act the same, and it’s as if I made too big of a reduction all at once. I’ve contacted my psychiatrist to ask for help on how to manage this, and I’m waiting for his response, as it’s becoming difficult. I’d like to wait and see if things stabilize, but I’m scared. Even though I’m close to the end now, I feel lost. I just want to feel okay again. It’s been 4 years of hell… and I’m seriously considering going back to paroxetine, where I wasn’t like this, and stabilizing there — even if it means staying on it for life. The Prozac bridge is a common move by doctors when tapering becomes difficult or tolerance starts to set in. Im sorry you having a hard time on it. 13 hours ago, baronvontito said: Update: I’ve been on a pause from tapering since May 2025 to stabilize (2.2 mg of fluoxetine), as some symptoms had become a bit too intense. You will need to make other combinations of up as you get lower. 13 hours ago, baronvontito said: The big problem started around March 20, 2026: I began sleeping poorly, waking up at 4 a.m., followed by repeated insomnia. Yes you are right to think this. It is often seen that a change of brand or even a batch sometimes can effect our sensitive nervous systems. If you have to changed brand we always suggest a cross over taper over a month. Like this but yours would have been the revere obviously: - For 4-7 days, ¼ of your dose of the liquid solution/ ¾ of your dose in the pill/powder form. - For 4-7 days, ½ of your dose of the liquid solution/ ½ of your dose in the pill/powder form. - For 4-7 days, ¾ of your dose of the liquid solution/ ¼ of your dose in the pill/powder form. - Full dose in the liquid solution. 13 hours ago, baronvontito said: Even though I’m close to the end now, I feel lost. You will stablise eventually. I appreciate you don't feel not good on prozac (we have a few members in the same boat to be honest) you can't go back to how you felt on paroxetine before. Alot has happened since then. I think the best thing you can do now, is hold and wait for things to return to you baseline before the switch. Then resume your taper. I think a switch back at this point could be a very bad move IMO. Can I ask why you were switched in the first place? Thanks again for joining. You are very welcome here. Glad you signed up to this site @baronvontito I had this happen to me when I switched to compounded capsules from weighing my own. It felt like I had gone cold turkey again. i strongly suggest you go back to making your own liquid. It is much more accurate than a compounding pharmacy. The way capsules are made is all manually done and in my opinion not very accurate. I am not the only one who has had this issue. It’s a lot of work doing your own but definitely worth it. Prozac diy liquid is stable in the fridge for 14 days so you do not have to do it daily. Also when I weighed my capsules, the weight varied a lot between capsules and even visually looked like different amounts. I am not a medical professional. April 5Apr 5 Author Thank you @Chippy @Talltreescoldseas @LostinCanada @Luke I’ll try to give a grouped response. To answer the question of why I had to switch from paroxetine to fluoxetine after 16 years: It’s because in France, GSK completely stopped producing paroxetine in liquid form, and I could no longer find it in pharmacies. Otherwise, I would have never, ever switched to fluoxetine. If I had to do it again, I would travel the world to find some and stock up. I don’t know if in your countries paroxetine still exists in liquid form? As I explained, when I switched to fluoxetine and started tapering gradually, during these 4 years on fluoxetine I’ve had this feeling of unreality / DP/DR almost every day, and it’s the most disabling symptom. Before, I would have a panic attack with DP/DR, it would last a few weeks/months and then pass, and I’d go back to normal. Today, I live with it every day… As I’ve often read, you’re supposed to reduce the dose when you feel well, but I have never felt well on fluoxetine. Even now, after a long period at 2.2 mg, it’s not improving and I still don’t feel okay. That’s why I’m considering going back to liquid paroxetine. If only at 2.2 mg I had no DP/DR symptoms, I would stay at this dose for the rest of my life without necessarily stopping the treatment. I’m wondering whether fluoxetine might be doing me more harm than good by keeping me in this DP/DR state, or if this is a withdrawal symptom that could last my whole life. If I have to choose, I’m thinking I might as well go back to low-dose paroxetine, stabilize, and hope that these DP/DR symptoms go away. What do you think? Regarding the recent change in fluoxetine form, the most reasonable thing is probably to follow your advice and go back to the liquid version that I was measuring with a pipette. So do you think I should switch back the same way, from one day to the next? Thanks again everyone for your help. • 2006 - 2016 (10years) : PAROXETINE --> 20mg • 2016 - 2018 : PAROXETINE, Several Taper off trial --> 20mg - 10mg - 5mg • 2018 - 2019 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg• 2020 : PAROXETINE --> 20mg• 2021 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg (liquid version) • 2022-February 2023 : Taper off from 10mg to 1,5mg of PAROXETINE Then start a switch : PAROXETINE --> PROZAC/FLUOXETINE (liquid version of PAROXETINE no more available in the country) • March - September 2023 : Dose fluctuation of PROZAC --> 20mg and 10mg + ATARAX(Hydroxyzine) 12,5mg (very rare and punctual) • October 2023 : Prescription error from pharmacist retake PAROXETINE --> 10mg against my will during 1 month (like a cold turkey swtich)• November 2023 : FLUOXETINE --> 10mg • December 2023 : Dose fluctuation of FLUOXETINE --> 20mg and 10mg• 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 10mg • APR 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 9mg • MAY 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 8,1mg • JUNE 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 7,3mg • JUL 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 6,6mg• AUG 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,9mg • SEP 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,3mg• OCT 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 4,8mg• NOV 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 4,3mg• DEC 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,9mg• JAN 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,5mg• FEB 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,1mg• MAR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,8mg • APR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,5mg •MAY 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •JUNE 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg • JUL 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg• AUG 2025 - FEB 2026: FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •03/01/2026 to 04/05/2026: FLUOXETINE (compounded pharmacy medication (caps))--> 2,2mg •04/06/ 2026: Back to FLUOXETINE Liquid 2,2mg due to worsen symptoms•MAY 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid—> 2,2mg•JUNE 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 2,2mgDaily Supplements : 2000ui vit D + 2 caps omega 3 + 4g creatine

I don’t know if in your countries paroxetine still exists in liquid form? Im sorry to see this. It is common to be switched to prozac, when someone gains tolerance to their current drug, or has found it hard to come off an exisiting drug, or in your case a drug becomes unavailable. Switches of drugs, often don't go well and can be the start of a bigger problem. You have found changing brands has caused you to worsen from what you have said? I would return back to your liquid Fluoxetine directly from here. What strength is it? mg/mL? You mentioned before you found it hard to be accurate? You could dilute the drug down further to help with this. Using Manufactured Liquid Antidepressants If it were me, I wouldn't consider for a second returning to Paroxetine. Unfortunately those days are gone, it is common for people to think they can somehow reload a previous drug and it makes everything ok. What I would do, is switch back to your liquid. Make up a different dilution as I said to help with accuracy, and wait to return to your WD baseline, not symptom free. From there I would continue your taper down, just holding if new symptoms appear above your WD baseline. I would consider a Micro Taper at this point. And of course do check in with us so we can help you. Micro Tapering I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. April 6Apr 6 Yes, I think switching back immediately to liquid is the best option. This link explains how to dilute manufactured liquids to get more accurate dosing: https://antidepressantrecovery.org/topic/251-using-manufactured-liquid antidepressants/?do=getNewComment 17 hours ago, baronvontito said: I’m thinking I might as well go back to low-dose paroxetine, stabilize, and hope that these DP/DR symptoms go away. What do you think? You did a switch back to paroxetine in October 23.....how did that go? Your body is now dependent on prozac unfortunately... despite side effects. You still need to slowly taper it. Paroxetine is not available in liquid by GSK, only generic companies make it. You body no doubt is still dealing with withdrawal from the paroxetine. June 30Jun 30 Author Hello everyone,@Chippy @LostinCanada @Luke It took me a long time to come back and post because I have been trying my best to cope with my current condition, and I have always found it difficult to ask for help…As you advised me, I went back to my original liquid fluoxetine on April 6th, 2026.It is difficult to remember exactly, but the days and weeks after that were not as bad as they are today. I had a few good days with fluctuating DP/DR, problems with concentration and memory, and a few nights of insomnia. From May until mid-June I didn’t write much in my journal, so I think my condition was probably “manageable.”However, since June 15th, 2026, everything has become a nightmare and it has not improved. My DP/DR is now extremely severe, with a lot of existential thoughts. My memory has become much worse and I struggle to remember previous days. I have completely lost my appetite and have lost 2 kg. It feels like almost anything I eat triggers a strange feeling, almost like panic. I have started thinking, “Don’t eat that, it will make my anxiety worse,” or “This food must be the cause.” I also feel exhausted after every meal.I no longer enjoy much, although I still force myself to stay busy and keep doing things. I have completely lost my libido. I have constant rumination, intrusive thoughts, harm OCD, fear of losing control, and I have become hyperaware of almost everything, including my senses.Recently I have become hyperaware of smiling and laughing. It is very difficult to explain, but it feels as if I am constantly anticipating my reactions. For example, when someone is talking to me, my brain says, “I should laugh here,” and afterwards, “I didn’t laugh.” It is a horrible feeling. I am trying my best to cope, but I am terrified of my current condition. I feel like my body is going to give up.I am still taking 2.2 mg of liquid fluoxetine.Just as a reminder, I measure my liquid fluoxetine using an AWS Gemini-20 scale. I use a pipette to place the liquid into a plastic container and weigh the equivalent in grams (0.55 g ≈ 0.55 mL = 2.2 mg of fluoxetine, Fluoxetine solution is 20 mg/5 mL).The only supplements I currently take are:Vitamin D 2000 IUOmega-3 (2 capsules)Creatine (4 g)One whey protein shakeThe only changes I made were:From May 18th to June 1st, I added one extra omega-3 capsule and one extra vitamin D capsule. From June 2nd to June 8th, I added one magnesium capsule. From June 9th to June 16th, I changed to another brand of vitamin D in liquid drops that also contained vitamin K2.From June 17th to June 24th, I stopped taking vitamin D completely and only continued taking omega-3.Since June 25th, I have gone back to my previous routine: the same vitamin D brand as before and 2 omega-3 capsules. This is the only explanation I can think of for why everything suddenly became so much worse.I had also been looking forward to the warm weather, hoping it would give me that “holiday feeling” again. Instead, we suddenly had an extreme heat wave in France, and I feel too unwell to enjoy it. I am so disappointed. My biggest concern now is this:If my symptoms become even worse and completely unbearable, what strategy should I follow?I feel like I need a backup plan.I have a hard time trusting the psychiatrist I saw. He simply told me, “Don’t worry, if you don’t get better we’ll switch you to another antidepressant.”It always seems to be the same answer, no matter which doctor I see. They don’t seem to understand what people here are actually experiencing.During my last discussion with Dr. Mark Horowitz, he told me that if he were in my situation, he would not switch antidepressants. If things became unbearable, he said he would consider adding 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg or 0.3 mg of paroxetine to see whether there was any improvement. He explained that switching back to paroxetine after 3-4 years would be a gamble. There is a chance it could help, but also a risk that it could make things even worse. There are no guarantees.I am feeling stuck. I am scared that I won’t find a solution.I am scared that nothing will ever work again and that I will stay like this for the rest of my life.I know none of you are doctors, but honestly, I trust your experience more than the doctors I have seen.If I reach the point where I simply cannot cope anymore and I go to the emergency department, what would they actually do?Would they just give me a benzodiazepine? Would they switch my antidepressant?Thank you again for all your support. It really means a lot to me. • 2006 - 2016 (10years) : PAROXETINE --> 20mg • 2016 - 2018 : PAROXETINE, Several Taper off trial --> 20mg - 10mg - 5mg • 2018 - 2019 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg• 2020 : PAROXETINE --> 20mg• 2021 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg (liquid version) • 2022-February 2023 : Taper off from 10mg to 1,5mg of PAROXETINE Then start a switch : PAROXETINE --> PROZAC/FLUOXETINE (liquid version of PAROXETINE no more available in the country) • March - September 2023 : Dose fluctuation of PROZAC --> 20mg and 10mg + ATARAX(Hydroxyzine) 12,5mg (very rare and punctual) • October 2023 : Prescription error from pharmacist retake PAROXETINE --> 10mg against my will during 1 month (like a cold turkey swtich)• November 2023 : FLUOXETINE --> 10mg • December 2023 : Dose fluctuation of FLUOXETINE --> 20mg and 10mg• 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 10mg • APR 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 9mg • MAY 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 8,1mg • JUNE 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 7,3mg • JUL 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 6,6mg• AUG 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,9mg • SEP 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,3mg• OCT 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 4,8mg• NOV 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 4,3mg• DEC 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,9mg• JAN 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,5mg• FEB 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,1mg• MAR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,8mg • APR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,5mg •MAY 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •JUNE 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg • JUL 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg• AUG 2025 - FEB 2026: FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •03/01/2026 to 04/05/2026: FLUOXETINE (compounded pharmacy medication (caps))--> 2,2mg •04/06/ 2026: Back to FLUOXETINE Liquid 2,2mg due to worsen symptoms•MAY 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid—> 2,2mg•JUNE 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 2,2mgDaily Supplements : 2000ui vit D + 2 caps omega 3 + 4g creatine
June 30Jun 30 @baronvontito have you considered doing a small updose to 2.3 mg? I know you have been at 2.2 mg for a long time but it seems that the dp/dr hasn't improved. Is that correct? At what dose did dp/dr show up? Is it withdrawal from the paroxetine? It is possible a tiny reinstatement of paroxetine may help 0.5 mg but you have been off it so long that I personally would leave it in the past. It could make things worse. Also remember that fluoxetine metabolizes into norfluoxetine. This lasts in your body up to 90 days so when making changes, it takes a long time to feel the affect....some do not feel withdrawal for up to 9 months. Were you taking magnesium? If so how long? Did you stop? If so when?5 hours ago, baronvontito said:Don’t eat that, it will make my anxiety worseThis is a histamine reaction and is very real. Prozac and paxil are histamine inhibitors. When we lower doses our body does not have the ability yet to process histamine. I suggest strictly following a low histamine diet and not eating any histamine liberators.Food must be super fresh. Leftovers must be frozen. Any processed meats are a no go. Any soy products are bad. Watermelon, citrus fruits, strawberries, avocado are histamine liberators. There are many more.I am in a low histamine diet and it has helped immensely.I am sorry you are dealing with this horrible situation. I will wait your responses. ❤️🙏 I am not a medical professional. July 1Jul 1 Author Thanks @LostinCanada 🙏I have not considered increasing my fluoxetine back to 2.3 mg.Since starting fluoxetine, I have always had DP/DR and feelings of unreality, although the severity has fluctuated. It has never been the same as when I was taking paroxetine before the switch. While tapering paroxetine between 10 mg and 5 mg, apart from terrible brain zaps around 10 mg, I did not have any other significant symptoms (although maybe they would have appeared later, I don’t know).Unfortunately, I had to switch because the liquid paroxetine was discontinued. What a mess…I have thought about reinstating 0.1 to 0.3 mg of paroxetine as Dr. Horowitz suggested, but as you said, it is a gamble. It is tempting to think:“I wasn’t like this before. What if I try 0.1 mg and feel a little better? Then maybe 0.5 mg, then 1 mg… If I keep improving, maybe I could switch back to paroxetine completely, stabilize, enjoy life again, and restart tapering later when I am ready.”My goal has never been to stop antidepressants at all costs. My goal is simply to feel well again. But that is the best-case scenario. It could also make everything worse, increase my symptoms, cause unbearable suicidal thoughts, or make my current condition even harder to tolerate. So it really feels like a double-edged sword. Also, I started taking paroxetine when I was 16 years old, so my brain developed while I was taking it.Before I was 16, I was not a depressed child.Looking back at my symptom journal while tapering fluoxetine (I didn’t always fill it in because sometimes I was simply trying to live my life):For example, between March and May 2024, while taking 9 mg (2.25 mL), I had days with DP/DR, days that were better, average days, good days, and even a few days where I wrote “really good day,” with only very mild DP/DR.Between October 2024 and March 2025, I hardly wrote anything at all, which probably means I had no major symptoms worth recording. That was during the taper, so having some symptoms or new symptoms would make sense. However, when I compare 2.2 mg in December 2025 or January 2026 with 2.2 mg today, it is completely different.Today is much worse.I now have severe DP/DR, sensory hyperawareness, constant awareness of everything around me, and existential thoughts that I never had before. So I keep asking myself:Is this still paroxetine withdrawal after stopping it?Is this because of fluoxetine? Is fluoxetine causing these feelings of unreality? Is this anxiety alone?Or is there simply no clear explanation?I also tried taking one capsule of magnesium bisglycinate from June 2nd until June 11th, then I stopped. Here is a summary of my supplement changes:March 4th – May 15th1 omega-3 capsule1 vitamin D (2000 IU)May 16th – May 20th2 omega-3 capsules1 vitamin D (2000 IU)May 21stOnly 2 vitamin D capsules (2000 IU each), no omega-3 because I had run out.May 22nd – June 1st3 omega-3 capsules2 vitamin D capsulesJune 2nd – June 8th3 omega-3 capsules2 vitamin D capsules1 magnesium bisglycinate capsuleJune 9th – June 11th3 omega-3 capsulesSwitched to a different vitamin D + K2 brand (Sunday Natural, 2 drops = 5000 IU)1 magnesium capsuleJune 12th – June 16th2 omega-3 capsules1 drop vitamin D + K2 (2500 IU)June 17th – June 24th2 omega-3 capsules only.I stopped the new vitamin D because I thought it was causing the increase in symptoms.Since June 25thBack to my previous routine:2 omega-3 capsulesMy previous vitamin D 2000 IU capsule.I honestly don’t think these supplement changes are the cause. After thinking about everything, my most logical hypothesis is something else.Everything seemed to start after I switched from the original liquid fluoxetine to the compounded pharmacy preparation. I immediately felt different and suddenly developed insomnia. Before that, I wasn’t like this. This is how I take my fluoxetine:The liquid contains 20 mg/5 mL.I draw 0.55 mL into a pipette and weigh it on my scale as 0.55 g, which should equal 2.2 mg of fluoxetine. My theory is that the compounded preparation may have delivered a slightly higher dose and had different absorption because of the different formulation. Then I switched:Original liquid → compounded capsules/preparationand laterCompounded preparation → original liquidMaybe those two changes caused a significant change in drug exposure, almost like a small cold turkey effect.Of course, this is only a hypothesis. I have no proof. What I don’t understand is why everything became so much worse two months later, around June 15th.At the moment, this explanation makes more sense to me than the supplement changes. At the same time, I am going to have blood tests to make sure there is not another medical problem, such as a thyroid or hormonal issue.Right now my brain keeps telling me:“This is it. This time you are stuck forever in this huge and weird DPDR state. You will never recover.” • 2006 - 2016 (10years) : PAROXETINE --> 20mg • 2016 - 2018 : PAROXETINE, Several Taper off trial --> 20mg - 10mg - 5mg • 2018 - 2019 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg• 2020 : PAROXETINE --> 20mg• 2021 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg (liquid version) • 2022-February 2023 : Taper off from 10mg to 1,5mg of PAROXETINE Then start a switch : PAROXETINE --> PROZAC/FLUOXETINE (liquid version of PAROXETINE no more available in the country) • March - September 2023 : Dose fluctuation of PROZAC --> 20mg and 10mg + ATARAX(Hydroxyzine) 12,5mg (very rare and punctual) • October 2023 : Prescription error from pharmacist retake PAROXETINE --> 10mg against my will during 1 month (like a cold turkey swtich)• November 2023 : FLUOXETINE --> 10mg • December 2023 : Dose fluctuation of FLUOXETINE --> 20mg and 10mg• 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 10mg • APR 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 9mg • MAY 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 8,1mg • JUNE 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 7,3mg • JUL 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 6,6mg• AUG 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,9mg • SEP 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,3mg• OCT 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 4,8mg• NOV 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 4,3mg• DEC 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,9mg• JAN 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,5mg• FEB 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,1mg• MAR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,8mg • APR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,5mg •MAY 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •JUNE 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg • JUL 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg• AUG 2025 - FEB 2026: FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •03/01/2026 to 04/05/2026: FLUOXETINE (compounded pharmacy medication (caps))--> 2,2mg •04/06/ 2026: Back to FLUOXETINE Liquid 2,2mg due to worsen symptoms•MAY 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid—> 2,2mg•JUNE 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 2,2mgDaily Supplements : 2000ui vit D + 2 caps omega 3 + 4g creatine

Make sure you are staying hydrated. 💯Yes the 2 weeks before was not that easy and very hot, but this week is better and fresher, I try to stay hydrated and i will try a « restrictive » low histamine diet to see if its helpI am doing a little better today and the last 3 days if i compare to the 06/30/2026 where i experienced a day with a pretty very high level of dp/dr / reality checking / irreality feelings / hyperawareness / fatigue / sadness…I will wait some weeks to see if there is any improvement and return to my withdrawal baseline before the capsule switch. My psychologist tells me that I can't stay like this and for her i have to stabilize and avoid the ups and downs so the CBT therapy will be more effective, I really have the feeling and especially here in Europe compared to the USA and Canada that our professionals are totally disconnected from what is happening in the field…My psychiatrist told me to wait and see if there is no improvement or stabilization i will jump to another SSRI molecule 😫Thanks but… no thanks …Its crazy I have so much more confidence with the people of this forum…Thanks again everyone • 2006 - 2016 (10years) : PAROXETINE --> 20mg • 2016 - 2018 : PAROXETINE, Several Taper off trial --> 20mg - 10mg - 5mg • 2018 - 2019 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg• 2020 : PAROXETINE --> 20mg• 2021 : PAROXETINE --> 10mg (liquid version) • 2022-February 2023 : Taper off from 10mg to 1,5mg of PAROXETINE Then start a switch : PAROXETINE --> PROZAC/FLUOXETINE (liquid version of PAROXETINE no more available in the country) • March - September 2023 : Dose fluctuation of PROZAC --> 20mg and 10mg + ATARAX(Hydroxyzine) 12,5mg (very rare and punctual) • October 2023 : Prescription error from pharmacist retake PAROXETINE --> 10mg against my will during 1 month (like a cold turkey swtich)• November 2023 : FLUOXETINE --> 10mg • December 2023 : Dose fluctuation of FLUOXETINE --> 20mg and 10mg• 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 10mg • APR 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 9mg • MAY 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 8,1mg • JUNE 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 7,3mg • JUL 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 6,6mg• AUG 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,9mg • SEP 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 5,3mg• OCT 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 4,8mg• NOV 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 4,3mg• DEC 2024 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,9mg• JAN 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,5mg• FEB 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 3,1mg• MAR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,8mg • APR 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,5mg •MAY 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •JUNE 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg • JUL 2025 : FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg• AUG 2025 - FEB 2026: FLUOXETINE Liquid --> 2,2mg •03/01/2026 to 04/05/2026: FLUOXETINE (compounded pharmacy medication (caps))--> 2,2mg •04/06/ 2026: Back to FLUOXETINE Liquid 2,2mg due to worsen symptoms•MAY 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid—> 2,2mg•JUNE 2026 : FLUOXETINE Liquid —> 2,2mgDaily Supplements : 2000ui vit D + 2 caps omega 3 + 4g creatine
July 5Jul 5 I also don't really trust the compounding pharmacies personally, hopefully yours isn't too bad.13 minutes ago, baronvontito said:My psychologist tells me that I can't stay like this and for her i have to stabilize and avoid the ups and downs so the CBT therapy will be more effective,I would recommend in the mean time you tried meditating if you haven't already, it's good to learn how to be mindful with those symptoms, obviously you will still have symptoms, but being mindful helps with just taking symptoms as they are, instead of dooming and thinking it means our life is over.also it's important to let go of our control with our health, when we attach to our health we suffer, if we unattach, yeah it will still be unpleasant, but the suffering is way less, you should just let the withdrawal do as it wants and accept the symptoms, and if you find really hard moments that are crazy bad 10/10, accept that the situation is unacceptable.you will always have ups and downs in life, but they are temporary, no matter how long.Let me know if you have questions ❤️ I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. Transitioning properly takes at least a month and if it didn't work before, it probably won't work again...2 hours ago, baronvontito said:psychologist tells me that I can't stay like this and for her i have to stabilize and avoid the ups and downs so the CBT therapy will be more effective,It is true that CBT is limited because you are in withdrawal.... withdrawal is a different beast though the principles help. I personally can't handle a "professional" whining about their job. If she can only be "successful" with the perfect client, I would just do some online courses or get a book....you don't need the stress. Just my opinion.2 hours ago, baronvontito said:psychiatrist told me to wait and see if there is no improvement or stabilization i will jump to another SSRI molecule 😫I think many of us will agree, you have to be selective with how much you tell the doctor. 2 hours ago, Lighty said:also don't really trust the compounding pharmacies personally, hopefully yours isn't too bad.I too had a horrible experience with compounding.
