Have you found that your doctor was able to understand or no? Like did they tell you it wasn't possible to have effects after one pill?

Kinda. When it first happened, I immediately went to my prescriber and reported the effects. I was given around a week after the first dose to monitor symptoms with their expectation being improvement, but when I came back after the week, the prescriber was literally like “uh…”! They said it’s very strange I’m still experiencing symptoms, but believed me and wrote in my file that I shouldn’t be prescribed any SSRIs in the future since I couldn’t tolerate them. I was told to give “8 weeks” to see full recovery, but we all see that didn’t happen. So to some degree they understood I was adversely affected, but their timelines on recovery are way off. I have not seen a doctor since because there really isn’t anything they can do for me.

03 May 2026: 5 mg of Escitalopram. Immediate adverse reaction.

(No previous experience with SSRIS, SNRIS, or MAOIS)
