I've been through so many ADs I don't know which one causes what. I'm just focussing on staying stable. Lots of somnolence and fatigue at present, and sometimes anxiety/breakthrough. Fortunately the latter is short lived. Still interferes with day to day life 😩 Link to SA Profile: https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/forums/topic/32414-catbird-introduction-a-long-and-winding-road/1996 Commenced on Sertraline 50 - 100mg. January 19Jan 19 Author Hi Tracey, nice to see you here too. I am currently on 17mg pill weight which is around 5mg of Zoloft. I have gone faster than recommended, early on but have since slowed down my taper. I still don’t know if I’m having withdrawals or if Zoloft doesn’t agree with me, or just a coincidence that this hell broke loose after the switch from a Lexapro. What are you currently on? What are your symptoms please? 7 May 2024 Zoloft 50mg - direct switch from Lexapro 20mg. 10 June 2024 Zoloft 75mg Decreased by 10% every 3 or so weeks 1 Jan 2025 50mg Zoloft 26 Jan 2025 45.18mg Zoloft (150mg pill weight) 12 Feb 2025 42.16mg Zoloft (140mg pill weight) 28 Feb 2025 39.16mg Zoloft (130mg pill weight) 18 March 36.14 mg Zoloft (120mg pill weight) 2 April 33.13mg Zoloft (110mg pill weight) 21 April 30.12mg Zoloft (100mg pill weight) 6 May 2025 27.10mg Zoloft (90mg pill weight) 3 June 2025 24.39mg Zoloft (81mg pill weight) 12 June 2025 - went back to 90mg pill weight due to heightened symptoms. continued reductions every 3 to 4 weeks. 1 Jan 2026 currently at 17mg pill weight, which is around 5 mg of zoloft

Hello @Claudelex, Sorry for late reply, I didn't get a notification. You are down to 5 mg well done. I am on 7mg and hit a bad wave. I use homemade liquid. 7.7mg to 7 mg may have been too much. My symptoms are a mild version of CT 2 years ago. Nausea, heat intolerance, exhaustion, weak muscles, impending doom, too frequent loose bowels, burning/ numb lips and tongue. Had way way more than this in CT. It is on my story I re wrote for here. What are your current symptoms? I see you get headaches, I have had few headaches certainly taper related as I got below 10mg. I never get headaches usually. Warm wishes and I hope you are doing ok at this moment. January 31Jan 31 Author Glad things aren’t as bad as they were for you @Tracey. My current symptoms are mainly head and neck related. My neck muscles are very tense causing my scalp to tense too. I also get a buzzing electrical feeling through my body but this is much better than it was. Old symptoms such as muscle spasms l, burning prickly legs and scalp have eased. Hi @Claudelex and @Tracey sorry to hear you’re both suffering. The apparent parasthesia (burning legs) you mention caught my attention. I’ve been taking a brand of magnesium glycinate which has some B vitamins in it. I was concerned about pyridoxine levels because on a daily basis I’d be well over the RDA. So I asked ChatGPT about it. The results came back about neuropathy and parasthesia. I’ve suffered with L breast and chest burning sensation (parasthesia) during withdrawal. I’m going to change brands (no pyridoxine) to see if it makes a difference. February 1Feb 1 Yes same here @Claudelex! Just would love all this disruption and struggle to be behind me. Once I stabilise and slow down my taper I hope it becomes less invasive to my life. Thanks @Catbird, I only take 50mg or less which is in my MH vital woman. The mag duo is Biomedica (blend of glycinate and citrate) with no co factors. It seems burning, tingling, peripheral nerve symptoms are common in SSRI withdrawal. There has been a bit of media blow in regards B6 (pyridoxine). Not all that is well informed. However there is no need to be taking huge doses anyway. Hope you are doing ok catbird.
