I really wish we could live near each other so when your in a wave I can come and help out you and give you a a reassuring hug.

On Paxil since 1995. Seroquel added 2014 after withdrawal crash. History of too-fast tapers/reinstatements.

21 April 2025 taper two drugs at once

Paxil 4% Seroquel 3.5% per month

that ended up being too much and changed to one drug at a time

13 Jul 2025: 4% Paxil cut

29 Jul 2025: 5% Paxil cut

6 Aug 2025: began hold

Oct 2025: changed from liquid to powder and accidentally took 10x Seroquel dose for 2 weeks by mistake

23 Oct 2025: returned to liquid with accidental 4.7% Seroquel cut

 Holding both drugs to stablize

Holding at Paxil 8.25 mg / Seroquel 6.5

Paxil taper

22/4 8.23  29/4 8.20  5/5 8.15 13/5 8.05  3/6 8 11/6 7.95

Hi @LostinCanada I am pleased to hear you are doing better on your new batch of meds, our

brains can pick up VERY much on different brands or tiny differences. When I was on Prozac

generic brands just DIDN'T work, nightmare. This makes our lives even HARDER, the sheer amount

of differing aquations to this discontinuation off psych drugs, is VASTLY misunderstood by so called

experts we were SUPPOSED to be able to TRUST. Most just are Ignorant to these very important facts.

Take great care LIC, wishing you all the best.        B.🙏🤞💙

LIC i totally relate to this. It’s saddened me so much to see those I thought I could rely on shrink back and remove their support.

Yes, I also relate to this.

It's difficult, but it shows us who the real friends are, even if they're few and far between.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Hey @j1290 that's a lot for me. I meant one whole stretch of 5.5 hrs without waking up. Unfortunately it was a one off but most nights I am getting one 3 hour stretch with no waking. I wake every 90 minutes or so... thankfully I can fall back to sleep fairly quickly.

Oooh got it!  If you can go back to sleep quickly that's a gift.   I wake up at around 7 am no matter what and can't get back to sleep easily.  I blame my lack of expercise and poor sleep habits involving screens, etf.  As long as I get 5.5-6 hours I'm OK to function, but the more rest I get the better.

How is your sleep?

This was me for the longest time LIC. So sorry awful. Mines improved loads. Hope yours does too. The 90 mins is so typical as you’ll be aware that is the length of a sleep cycle and as you pass through the upper part you wake rather than continue on with the next cycle like a ‘normal’ person. Hell what these drugs do to our sleep architecture. X

@LostinCanada, Hi LIC, this is sad but true. People you were always there for,  and who you stood by through thick or thin, then bailed and faded away when it was your turn for some support. You have been so kind and supportive to so many of us here. Please know that we love and support you, and are here for you as well! I am so grateful for the unexpected people God put in my life through this. Real, authentic, loyal people with integrity and empathy. It's a blessing. Those people who "faded away" will have their own learning lessons someday. Prayers and blessings your way LIC.🙏💖🕊

Checking in on you, dear LIC. How are your symptoms the last week or so? Still some improvement from your batch issue?

Currently tapering Zoloft as a snail’s pace. View my SA page for the whole story.

I seem to be improving….i hate that I am so sensitive but I am convinced it was a bad batch…either not mixed right or contaminated or something. It was such an immediate change starting the new stuff…too coincidental.

How are you doing…you are so super sensitive as well….we have to remember to be careful. ❤️🙏

@LostinCanada this is really great news! Glad you followed your gut. Nice little hold for you to get back to baseline?

I’m so much better. It was two weeks that I really was having bad ups and downs. Thankfully, the bad waves of symptoms only lasted 6 hours or so then I would get a break from the extreme even though I still wasn’t at baseline by any stretch. Indeed we are very sensitive.

Currently tapering Zoloft as a snail’s pace. View my SA page for the whole story.
