If you are in a stressful period, it is worth putting the process on hold until things calm down.Regarding hormonal therapy, it is a risk like anything new that enters the system let alone in your current situation. I personally have never tried both because of the wd now and for being a heavy smoker for years. As for the liquid, from what I know, home made is even better because you know very well what the compound is, unlike external places that prepare it, but beyond that I really don't know much..I hope that what you decide will suit you, in the end, you can only try and see.On the supplements end and lifestyle changes, I feel like I’m almost trying everything but there are some people in my life that stress me out and make withdrawals worse but I can’t really avoid them like my dad or a friend of mine who I occasionally have conflict with. I also more than likely have ptsd from losing my mom to suicide and I can’t always avoid triggers related to that. I’ve been practicing more DBT skills lately like HALT to manage mood swings and STOP when someone or something triggers me. I also do the facial ice plunges when triggered sometimes or sour candy or intense exercise but then they say intense exercise makes periods later so I feel like I can’t win on that aspect lol. I do feel like certain people like my dad I have to isolate from when my PMDD is at is worst because he can take my irritability from a 10 to a 100 pretty quickly. I’m trying my best and I guess that’s all that matters. Trazodone 25 mg in 2022, increased to 100mg and been on it since.Trintellix- Started early 2024 at 5mg. Increased in the fall to 10mg. If anything, maybe it will make it more accurate so that I can taper better since Cardinal Health is a reputable medical manufacturer compared to my Amazon syringes lol. It’s gonna be $112 total per year if I reuse the syringe every 3 days. I may even use them longer than that if they maintain quality. I may switch to BH Supplies 20ml syringe if I decide the cost of the syringes is just too much but I figured I can try these out and see if they are worth the extra cost (if they last longer and don’t draw up bubbles like my current one).I agree with @LostinCanada if you use the same syringe or at least brand to draw the liquid as your dose, you will get the same dose each time even if you change brands. Measuring the water with a beaker means that when you change syringe types the dose may alter a little. So it would be best to start to measure the water with the syringes. You can test the difference between measuring techniques by measuring your water with a syringe into the beaker and seeing if the amount is about the same as what you would measure with the beaker in the first place. If it’s beyond my capacity, I’m going to consider work from home. I am at the age though where I need to have some kind of job in case something happens to my dad. I’m currently on his health insurance but when I turn 26, to be eligible for Medicaid, I will have to at least work a part time job. New requirements here in the US for Medicaid. I would have to work or volunteer 80 hours a month. I’m 23, almost 24 so I still have about two years left of health insurance through my dad. It’s a three day a week thing with some weekends occasionally. The best I can do is try. I think for now too, I may pause tapering or go way more gradual with the Seroquel at 2% cuts every month if I decide to continue tapering. Most of the time, it should be a low stress, quiet job at the library unless it’s a day where I’m assigned a special task. I do miss having a job sometimes. I think it’s more an issue with the syringes I had before because they would leave the huge water bubbles at the top like I was missing a lot of my dose.
