If it helps, it’s not surprising that you’re still feeling bad. You’re not an outlier or anything. And you can get better. Is your plan to stay on the 150 Zoloft and try to stabilize? July 14Jul 14 Author Thanks @SarahMc I think I’m going to stay on 150 for a bit before anymore changes, I want to get off this eventually. I feel like my brain is fried, there has been that many medication changes in 6 months, I’m trying to feel a little more normal before anymore before anymore changes 😭 SNRI for 14 years, GP stopped cold turkey. July 15Jul 15 Author Hey @Chippy I felt ok towards the end of the two weeks on 175.The last few days on 150 have been a little harder, exhausted, headaches, severe brain fog, really down. I can’t even tell if this is the medication decrease or something else 😩 SNRI for 14 years, GP stopped cold turkey. Introduced/removed 4 other meds in 5 months

I can’t even tell if this is the medication decrease or something else 😩I have all of these symptoms @Dee86! It’s definitely all the med changes. I’m now about 3.5 months into my hold and still not great, but doing better overall. It takes a lot of patience, but if you stop making changes you can likely stabilize over time before starting your taper. As Chippy said, it would be helpful to get a better idea of how bad your symptoms are — can you rate them out of 10, 10 being the worst? He did however tell me to drop the Zoloft to 150mg from the 200mg. I’m just scared 😭Hi @Dee86 I'm so sorry you feel scared although it's legitimate to feel that way in this very, very challenging process. Can I ask what symptoms you're experiencing? Is it constant or are there also lighter moments? Also, could you please elaborate on what you were on and at what dosage you stopped?I'll just add that no matter how bad you feel now, it's temporary, there will be unbearable moments, but the body is making tremendous efforts to heal and this is reflected in what it's experiencing.Hang in there, we're with you. July 15Jul 15 Author Hi all,@Chippy @SarahMc thanks for both your replies. On a scale of 1-10 I would say a 5. Definitely better than a couple of months ago, I’m back at work part time. July 16Jul 16 Author @Chippy towards the end of the two weeks maybe 4 not that much better than I’m feeling now, but I had more windows of being ok, the past 3 days have been a constant ugliness, crying, pit in my stomach, head aches/tension. I don’t even know what’s normal whilst going through this, I’m just hoping its temporary with the recent decrease. SNRI for 14 years, GP stopped cold turkey. If things settle quickly you could perhaps make a further bigger cut, if it takes some time perhaps a smaller reduction is needed. I think it would be worth considering letting this get more in the 'mild' catogery before making any more reductions. Finding that normal baseline takes a little time but you'll sus it.
