@Chippy Hi Chippy. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this group, and for the helpful links. I really appreciate it. I want to be a contributing part of the group and look forward to being a good team member, but I have to admit I am still finding my way around the site.

My goal is this: when someone I am following posts on their thread, or when someone posts on my thread, I would like to receive an email notification. I would then like to be able to click on that email and be taken directly to the relevant thread. Is that possible?

My pleasure. Don't worry takes time to adjust to new things! I removed your accidental quote of your last post for you. Don't know if you saw the quote tips in there. Option 4 is now my favourite. :)

Feel free to contribute as much as you want! The more input the better!

My goal is this: when someone I am following posts on their thread, or when someone posts on my thread, I would like to receive an email notification. I would then like to be able to click on that email and be taken directly to the relevant thread. Is that possible?

This is more than possible. I've now made some system wide updates to the site. This should iron out the issues people are having with email notifications. Basically you should now get a email every time someone posts on any thread you are subscribed to. Email contains a link to the post/thread.

Hello RachelSusan,

Glad you survived! Does that mean we should expect your success story some time soon?

(I am currently fighting through Zoloft taper and withdrawal.)

My story: https://antidepressantrecovery.org/topic/87-marina-onoffonoff-zoloft-since-end-of-2020/

History:

• November 2020 - March 2022: 50 mg Zoloft (first WD - mostly mental symptoms)

• July and August 2022: psilocybin microdosing

• End of August 2022: medium dose psilocybin

• January 2023: reinstated Zoloft 50 mg (but probably experinenced adverse reaction/tolerance/poop-out)

• October 2024: started slow taper off Zoloft

• September 2025: switched to compounded capsules (second WD started - both physical and mental symptoms)

• June 2026: jumped off at cca 0,1 mg liquid

Symptoms:

Windows and waves pattern of healing.

In a wave:

• severe DP/DR - reality seems strange and creepy and I feel a disconnect from my life, myself, God and the world around me, deep depression, stuck in my head, disinterest for my previous hobbies and work, hopeless, intrusive thoughts, cortisol mornings...

• histamine intolerance, vision problems (eye floaters/VSS/light sensitivity), tinnitus, muscle twitches...

Everyone from SA is welcome to join if they want to. I left SA a while ago. Please feel free to link people to this forum if you would like to or feel that they may benefit from being in this community.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Hi RachelSusan, I am not sure we have crossed paths but wanted to say hi as a fellow Mentor and journeyer of this AD circus. I keep seeing more familiar names too. We are filling up the space here as SA closes out in less than 6 days. This new site (AR) will be a great support for one another. It would be great know how you have been faring since being off of Zoloft for a few years now.

Be well my friend.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I have been off since 2022, and the taper went well at the very end. The difficult part was the years before that, when I simply did not know how to do it. It turns out I am ultra sensitive, and even the 10 percent suggestion did not work for me. Ultimately, though, I learned, and it became easier.

This is great! It’s awesome that you are here to motivate other people on their journey.
I can very much relate to having an ultra sensitive system in general, being empathic, needing to tread lightly. I’m hoping for an easy time off the Mirt as I progress lower and lower with the taper. I know that has not been quite a few people’s story, but yours gives hope that things can turn out well at the end and getting to 0.

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice (fear); but rather of power and love and self-control (a sound mind).

Can't emphasize enough how much of a relief this site is. I went from separation anxiety to reuniting elation. ☺️
