Saturday at 11:38 PM2 days Author @Chippy , @Luke , @mstimc60 just wanted to know if any of you felt with stomach issues that just seamed to pop up but 3 weeks ago, not sure if it is even a stomach bug any more or if it is just a wave that just started out low in intensity and just seems to ramp up. Symptoms I've been experiencing. Bloating, cramping as if my gut/intestines are in a vice from time to time, nausea feel, almost like a burning sensation under my skin in stomach area, can't eat to much cause I all of a sudden feel bloated and not as many bowl movement as usual. Have had this feeling today on my right side where it felt like a cramp/twisty sharp pain in right side of stomach just below my ribcage. Then experience a tightness in center of chest just below the sternum. Not sure what the heck is happening but wondering if this is just went into a intense wave. Have never had issues before like this the whole WD up until the last 3 weeks. Only thing that did bother me like others is the cortisol morning's but I'm used to them and they have lessened, . Sunday at 11:35 PM1 day That seems very much what I've been experiencing for the past 2 years. Bloating a ton looking pregnant, ton of gas, nausea, spasming bowels, this burning and pain under ribs... I got a stomach endoscopy last year alongside an ultrasound and all that is wrong is chronic gastritis because i had an h pylori infection before. For me it's a combination of gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome since forever, and withdrawal, so it's all misery. If what hurts you is the stomach, you can ask for an h pylori test to rule this bacteria out just in case. It's non invasive with a stool or breath sample. But I doubt it's that given your symptoms. I had it and it was terrible. You can also get an ultrasound as far as non invasive testing goes for peace of mind. But it really looks like the same stuff I'm dealing with myself. Other than that, you can try to eat softer foods low in saturated fats or less acidic so the stomach has an easier time working. Remove red meat, spicy things, butter... And change for lean meats, olive oil, fiber, gentle fruits like bananas... And see if there's a change. Also eating often but in smaller size. Also eating often but in smaller size.Thank you @ALonelySoul12 for the information, and definitely going to as my Doctor today about the above information to rule things out. I called off work for the appointment today to figure things out. I'll let you know what she finds, and yes, I think eating smaller portions is best for now. I had a burger for supper last night and could only eat 3/4 of it. I felt not well, upset stomach and bloating. I also experienced a sharp pain in my back though not sure if it was tension from overthinking or what and a dull ache in my chest right above my sternum it would come and go. I think my CNS is in overdrive. May ask for some time off to let things settle instead of pushing myself so much. Honestly I think I've reached my max and my bode is letting me know. 6 hours ago6 hr @Bernadette Hi, I too have been getting symptoms similar to yours but mine started after my stomach virus that I had over 7 weeks ago. Stomach discomfort and fullness just below sternum and it penetrates to my back. Burping, indigestion, occasional nausea and not much interest in food. I was on a bland diet for several weeks but since introducing regular foods my digestive symptoms seems worse. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow, she works part time otherwise I'd have tried to see her today. That as well as other withdrawal symptoms is no joke. I hope you feel better soon, it's so uncomfortable and worrying.
