You’re right it’s a less frequently mentioned drug on here and the side effects are terrible — dry mouth, dry eyes, dry gut and gnawing hunger. Some of these issues have been mitigated by going keto. I’ve lost a little weight but the hunger was terrible. I knew it wasn’t physical hunger so I asked ChatGPT and it helped me change a few things around. When the hunger would strike after breakfast I’d have a slab of double cream Brie - it seemed to be the only thing that would quell it. Now I have a bit of Greek yoghurt with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and eat about 2 avocados a day. Amitriptyline is very good for sleep though. I haven’t had any more episodes of SVT but I’ve had lots of other psychological, mood and physical symptoms. It’s very draining but not as dramatic as the SVT. you are always encouraging and have kind words. 🧡 Link to SA Profile: https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/forums/topic/32414-catbird-introduction-a-long-and-winding-road/1996 Commenced on Sertraline 50 - 100mg. Two occasions where I’ve wanted to cancel but I’ve gone anyway. Lots of anxiety and somatic symptoms and I’ve managed to just sit with the discomfort. I think I’m getting better at it. how are you going? From what I’ve seen you write on line you’re really in the thick of it.
