17 hours ago17 hr Author omg I don't even know what to say, tonight felt like I was transported to February 22nd 2026, the day my 8th day of reinstatement I woke up heart pounding at 2:00am and I instantly knew it had began. Today was 5th day of my iron supplementation. I was seeing signs before then tingling, a little nerve pain, symptoms I had before WD but didn't have for a month or so but showing up again after supplementation? I thought this was okay since I technically did have them before supplementation just not for a bit.My sleep worsened a bit but it was worsening before the supplementation too but stagnant but I thought ok it could have worsened on it's own too since the trajectory was downhill. Then I read the supplements ingredients, was not pure liposomal iron but had some b12, d and b6. I told my stupid idiot naturpath that I want to take something just pure iron and he ******* someone convinced me to take it.I thought it's iron, I eat meat everyday, it can't be that bad? My WD improved so much, been 21 months, this is a basic supplement nothing crazy. My B12 and D were also low. I'm so stupid I should have just started with a pure iron supplement but now I can't risk that either. This stupid ******* Naturopath kept telling me to take a multi or I won't feel better. I'm not even talking about WD symptoms but wanted other symptoms to feel better. Now I'm sitting awake at 2:37am. It's so uncanny because this exactly how my WD started waking up at 2:00am after a practitioner convinced me to take it.I am really sorry and should have just listened to the mods. I just really thought 21 months in WD fair improvements eventhough recent trend was downhill was that basic supplementation would be okay. My numbers were all so bad in the tests and like catbird said through food does not happen.Lesson learnt, I'm still so terrified though. So scary to be in this position. Just going to lie down in bed and remind myself if it passed once it can pass again. Will try to fix deficiencies through food and nothing else for now. I feel nerve pains, hands and top of toes and wrists. It gets painful for a few seconds and vanishes. This is happening a lot. This is really crazy this happened from an Iron sachet. I should have known and not listened to stupid ******* naturopath. My nervous system is just really sensitive I am so scared now Prozac 60mg 2018 - 2024 then cold turkey'dWithdrawal/adverse reaction to reinstatement (10mg for 8 days) began Feb 2025Month 0 - 3 = windows and waves every weekMonth 4 - 6 = constant waveMonth 7- 11 = massive window, felt 80% healedMonth 12 - 18 = constant wave but better than < Month 6
17 hours ago17 hr Author bruh this is why I was not touching anything sibo related....if an Iron supplement did this to me imagine oil or oregano, ginger supplements, all the seratonin modifying motility agents natural and drug. If an naturally occuring supplement did this I could have had MUCH worse like a fatal crash from those. 14 hours ago14 hr Just now, Luke said:None that I ever tried did anything at all.You tried everything under the sun and nothing works or it even makes recovery timeline longer, as you told me on SA, right? Maybe it's something that happened to @wheretogonow I think your that your thinking makes sense - there is a big question - how gut issues and WD are related. I think your reaction to iron supplements was "just" making your stomach worse and/or chemical sensitivity. People reported how they get worse these two ways. 2009-2010: Sertraline (50 mg) 2011: Escitalopram (10 mg) 2009-2011: tried Olanzapine (5/2.5mg), Quetiapine (50/25mg) and Aripriprazole (low dosage) CT Escitalopram, being free for several moths 2012-2016: Fluoxetine (60 mg) 2016-2017: Venlafaxine (75 mg) 2016: just tried Duloxetine and Maprotiline 2017-2018: Mirtazapine (30/45mg) 2012-2018: Bupropion (300 mg) 2014-2018: Lamotrigine (50/100/150 mg) CT Bupropion, tapering Lamitrogine and Mirtazapine (practically CT, fast tapering)

In terms of your methane sibo the best thing you can do is try to get your motility moving smoothly it could also be in your long intestine to, thats where I believe mine is. Allicin is meant to help remove it but if you don’t get your motility moving it will just come back. Also with methane sibo it consumes hydrogen so there has to be a hydrogen aspect to it. Also check your tongue in the morning is it white? If so there could be a fungal issue involved as when people get Dysbiosis fungal issues (Candida) can proliferate, also when you have a prevotella overgrowth (which I do to) there is saying that it feeds of fungal metabolites. Don't wanna risk ginger supplements. How do I get my Ferritin up?Yes please....does he know about withdrawal? He doesn’t know about withdrawal I don’t think but when it comes to methane sibo and overgrowths in the biome in my opinion it’s kinda past withdrawal it needs to be sorted out Normally for health to return. You have good levels of your probiotics like bifidobacterium and your akermansia looks good so hopefully no intestinal permeability (leaky gut) the parasite you have also is probably due to the prevotella overgrowth it’s not a good bacteria to have overgrown as it is a gram negative bacteria which releases lipopolysacarides. You might feel worse while trying to get it down as once it starts to die of it releases toxins. The guy im working with basically said it’s better to sort the biome out first then parasites should be addressed after. If you send me a message with your email I’ll send over what he sent to me it has loads of things for motility on there. The main thing is to make sure you go everyday as toxins can burden the liver making you feel worse. Prevotella loves wheat aswell so better to drop it if you are eating it. Phgg is a great prebiotic fibre which can help grow the rest of the biome to try rebalance it. Your ferritin will likely start to be absorbed from food once you sort the methane sibo and dybiosis out. I haven’t checked mine in a while but I have the same issues mine dropped from 45 to 17 in 2 months.
