12 hours ago12 hr Author Thank you @Chippy @Bernadette I will definitely take it slow. I’m not in any hurry. In fact, I often have to motivate myself to make cuts. I will feel great and there’s the thought that I should hold indefinitely. It’s such a balancing act. I’m pretty sure my last wave was triggered by taking sumatriptan. I had a migraine and was at work with meetings and deadlines. I was trying to make it through to the end of the day and took the sumatriptan in desperation. The wave settled after a week, but a good reminder that my nervous system is still sensitive and any medication can shake things up. I have been taking rizatriptan a couple times for migraine in the last two years. To me the effect was that I felt so much better for a couple hours. It does something with the serotonin, which can of course cause problems,( so I would never recommend it!) but in my case it felt really nice, gave me a kind of relaxed tiredness that I have not experienced since in withdrawal. I thought it was kind of funny that my migraine days are the best days in times of withdrawal 😑🙄 I am sorry that you had the opposite effect and were thrown in a wave. ❤️🩹Our systems are indeed very sensitive. I had a cup of tea this week and it threw me in a terrible wave for about 24 hours.
