March 12Mar 12 Author Another symptom I have noticed past few months is that my muscles feel really light.. light as a feather actually. It feels like my legs can’t feel tired or sore after walking / running. It even feels like an unnatural super human power because I simply won’t feel sore, painful or tired?😨 I can’t feel my muscles well.. I think this is what people mean when they take drugs to dance for hours. I can’t feel my own limits. I think it is the COMPLETE opposite of having sore muscles in withdrawal. Same goes for my brain. Some days my skull feels completely empty.. like there is only air inside. Brain light as a feather…. Do people recognize this? I really miss the real organic human experience. Everything feels constantly fake. Better mood? Feels artificial. Feeling sharp? Artificial. Brain fog? Chemical. Headaches? Chemical. Feeling calm (aka EMOTIONALLY BLUNTED)? Chemical! 🤡🤡 Edited March 12Mar 12 by Sophia 12 august 2025; 5mg fluoxetine 30 August 2025: 10mg fluoxetine 11 september 2025: 5mg fluoxetine 19 september 2025; 2.5mg fluoxetine 2 oktober 2025: 0mg I had to cut my pills in half and quarters, so and don’t think I had accurate dosages.

If I was to bet, it will be back online soon looking a bit different. It could of course just a bit a glitch and they are working on it. March 23Mar 23 Author Hi all, My eyes are so severely dry. I dont have any tear production as it seems.. rubbing my eye, cutting onions, wind in eyes, yawning, nothing produces tears. Also no eye discharge upon waking. Yet another signal that has been completely numbed out since withdrawal. Did others have this as well? How long did it take to recover ? I can’t were my contacts anymore and it feels really uncomfortable, like I have sand in my eyes all day. I also have reduced sweat and a very dry skin. March 23Mar 23 I had significant eye pain, along with mild dryness. It did resolve. It's difficult to remember how long this took, I was still getting it very occasionally at 2.5 years off, but very rarely in flare ups. I think it pretty much cleared up after the first year. March 23Mar 23 It is the same with me, @Sophia, dry eyes and dry skin. It has been like this for more than 11 months. April 1Apr 1 Author Been exactly 6 months today since I took my last dose. I thought back then that within 6-8 weeks, I would be normal again. Boy was I wrong… On the positive note.. I do think I am improving (especially my cognition and memory are working more normal) but it is soooo terribly slow.. At a snail pace. I think I mentioned it before, but what I really hate, is that everything in this experience feels chemical and unnatural. Not my own thoughts and emotions are the ones who influence my mood, only the neurochemicals in my brain. I just have gotten to experience some better days, but it feels like my brain becomes lighter and I become a bit hyper. Like I snort a line or something… Again, unnatural better mood. At least things are changing a bit in the anhedonia, I think that’s a good sign. I still have a lot of healing to do and I cannot wait for my emotional depth to finally come back, so I can feel like “me” again… That would be a BIG RELIEF… The head pressure was definitely less severe since this month. That is a big win as well I guess. 12 august 2025; 5mg fluoxetine 30 August 2025: 10mg fluoxetine 11 september 2025: 5mg fluoxetine 19 september 2025; 2.5mg fluoxetine 2 oktober 2025: 0mg I had to cut my pills in half and quarters, so and don’t think I had accurate dosages.

April 2Apr 2 @Sophia these are all good early signs. April 4Apr 4 Author Hi all, Recently I noticed that because my head pressure is less, my head feels light as a feather. When this happens, I feel a bit hyper… like I am in a chemically better mood. Feels like I snorted a line or something. I am very self aware of this and don’t act weird or anything but I do feel kinda weird. Like some things come online but bit toooo much.. Do others recognize this? 😳 Idk if I can call it a window cuz it still feels very fake and not like “me”…? 12 august 2025; 5mg fluoxetine 30 August 2025: 10mg fluoxetine 11 september 2025: 5mg fluoxetine 19 september 2025; 2.5mg fluoxetine 2 oktober 2025: 0mg I had to cut my pills in half and quarters, so and don’t think I had accurate dosages.
April 4Apr 4 I have had this too. The emotional.blunting and brain fog and anhedonia lift (literally feels like a switch flips) and I feel unnaturally clear in the head, and strangely excited and have a little bit too much energy inside. Sometimes I am still emotionally blunted during this phase, but I have motivation and interest to do things. But it feels unnatural and not like me. I hate these periods as they feel so chemical and a bit out of control (and I have to work hard to control myself). I used to think they were windows but I don't count them as such because they are still very unnatural feeling and definitely chemical and so I view them as a state shift. A change in symptoms but not a window, because it still is far from feeling settled or normal. Edited April 4Apr 4 by Sminismoni November 2024 Elvanse for ADHD. April 4Apr 4 Author @Sminismoni Yeah exactly!! I still feel emotionally blunted in terms of deep emotions like sadness, grief, joy, trust, etc. But indeed.. more motivation, no anhedonia and energy. But really unnatural. I really start to wonder if many people with “bipolar” disorder are experiencing side effects from medications and withdrawal haha… I feel kinda (hypo)manic in these phases. And I truly never had any of that before the medication. I really hope our brains are still looking for the right balance and sometimes switch a bit too much up or down… I am glad I am quite self aware and try to stay grounded Edited April 4Apr 4 by Sophia 12 august 2025; 5mg fluoxetine 30 August 2025: 10mg fluoxetine 11 september 2025: 5mg fluoxetine 19 september 2025; 2.5mg fluoxetine 2 oktober 2025: 0mg I had to cut my pills in half and quarters, so and don’t think I had accurate dosages.

SSRI's in 2019-2020 caused me to have insane anxiety, depression and SI, but psychiatrists don't understand it can happen, just tried to shove anti psychotics at me, someone told me about these drugs being bad, and I rapid tapered back then (and had relatively mild withdrawals) and all those symptoms were gone. 1 hour ago, Sophia said: I am glad I am quite self aware and try to stay grounded that's good, just 'ride' time and stay occupied with things you love.
