I just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone. I have almost the same story as you. I got off Lex had W/D and reinstated at 5 mg and had a horrible reaction. I also reinstated again at a micro dose and have been trying to work my way up. 
 

Also, I had/have a lot of the same symptoms. I’m still dealing with waves with my reinstatement. I’m on .21 mg currently.

2005-2015 Effexor XR - 75 mg 

2015- 2016 Lexapro 10 mg

2017- 2019 Lexapro 10 mg (stopped due to pregnancy restated after)

2020-2025 Lexapro 10 mg (stopped due to pregnancy restarted after)

Withdrew Lexapro finished Feb ‘25 - 6 month taper…Rituxan infusions December 2023, June 2024

May 2025 - Lorazapam 1 mg prn, Xanax .25 mg prn,  Propranolol 20 mg prn,  Hydroxyzine 25 mg prn, unisom paradoxical reaction, Abilify 5 mg only for 2 weeks, Klonopin 1mg 2x day May 26th - May 30th, lowered Klonopin to 1 mg 1x day May 31 - June 3rd Nexium stopped in May, Klonopin June 10th - June 24th tapered for one week June 18-June 20th 0.375 mg, June 21st-23rd 0.25 mg, June 23rd-June 26th 0.125mg ….currently Propranolol 30 mg/ day, tapering Hydroxazine after 3 weeks at 50 mg/ day July 2nd - July 9 - 25mg

Reinstated Lexparo -Sept ‘25 .07 mg, .014 mg, .021 mg

Drug History

2013 - 2025:  Zolpidem 5 mg

2015 - Oct 2024: Venlafaxine, Sertralin (Zoloft), Paroxetin (Paxil),duloxtin (cymbalta), Citalopram (Celexa), Escitalopram (Lexapro) and more 

 

Current Drugs

L-Thyroxin 75, Estrogen, Progesteron 200

 

Tapering Escitalopram

Until Sept 2024: Setralin/zoloft 75 mg

Oct 2024: Switch to Escitalopram / Lexapro 2mg

Then I tapered over a year from 2mg to 0,32 mg (October 2025).  108 days hold without stabilizing. Resumed taper February 2026:

11 Feb 2026 0.314mg 

18 Feb 2026 0.307mg 

21 Feb 2026 0.302mg

09 Mar 2026 0.297mg

18 April 2026 0,293 mg

18 May 2026 0,285 mg

18 June 2026 0,265 mg

18 July 2026 0,250 mg

18 Aug 2026 0,232 mg

 

Tapering Zolpidem: From 5 mg to 0,7 mg in 12 months,  then just crumbs for several weeks, now 0! (Jan 2025)

 

Other Supplements 

Omega 3, Magnesium Glycinate, Vit D, Calcium, L-theanin.
