If you had come across someone who was both competent and genuinely committed to helping you, and who had told you the truth about these medications, your life might have taken a different direction. Doctors don’t want complicated cases or patients who require a lot of follow-up and regular appointments; those are the patients nobody seems interested in. And, quite frankly, I think dealing with them requires a level of human understanding and empathy that many doctors are far from having, their entire lives being built around their own ego and their own fear of death. And I don’t say that lightly. In my country, they wanted to introduce some kind of “empathy assessment” for first-year medical students. Outrageous (for "people")… and yet, when you think about it for 30 seconds, the principle actually makes sense. It’s the way of implementing it that is more difficult.I had the misfortune of crying in front of my GP—the one I see in my area, because I didn’t have one when I lived near my family, who are in another region—and I was treated like dirt. I even had slightly high blood pressure for the first time in my life, and it was the medication causing it, but I had no idea. He simply told me to calm down, that I was anxious, and then indicated with a nod that I should leave because the appointment had already lasted long enough and he had “work waiting behind me.” About 1 week of st John's wort then 20-25 october 2025 : escitalopram 10mg (liquid) 18 november- 9 december 2025 : Fluoxétine 20 mg (liquid, 10 ml) - 2 days at 30 mg then return to 20 mg because of side effects. Stop everything on 9th december 2025 (last dose 2mg 9th december). in parallel prazepam drops (3 to 13 drops at the evening), on november 2025. I went in bawling my eyes out begging for even the slightest relief or comprehension. Yet I came out empty handed. Just like the the last time, and the one before that. Most she could do is refer to me to the psychiatrist or psychologist, but since I was non compliant and unstable, there was nothing she could do. 2 hours ago2 hr Author This is shameful. But I’m not surprised.I’m deeply saddened. We’ve all ended up dealing with incompetent, heartless, and detached people.I mean, even someone who doesn’t work in healthcare would have been more understanding towards me. How did I not realise this sooner? As if they were the only ones who could "understand". There are wonderful people outside the medical profession. How could we have forgotten that?! And this is what we get for putting them on the top of the podium when they already deserved to be at the very bottom. And on top of that, they dare to make people believe that “YOU NEED TO SEEK HELP, YOU WON’T RECOVER ON YOUR OWN”… Thank you, really. We’re so grateful for your “help”!And we paid them to keep being monsters in their field, these criminals. Once the injury is there, it’s there…Sure @Sophia ... 😔Of course we thought that a short period of use could help! They presented them to us as medication. You take medication for a short period to deal with a temporary problem, don’t you? What did they think? That we would just swallow their ******** diagnosis of chronic depression or whatever?! Or even the idea of “six months” to treat a depressive episode?! Who came up with that absurd length of time? Their guru?!I would never have agreed to take medication for years if there hadn’t been a REAL, OBJECTIVELY VERIFIABLE illness behind it! Not even in exchange for billions of euros! That was NOT my mindset going into this, to be absolutely clear! I know you also started out with the idea that it would only be for a short period! But if only I’d heard someone, anyone, clearly use the words drug or withdrawal when talking about them, believe me, I wouldn’t have hesitated for another second to throw them in the bin and run for the hills!!!!If people take them for years, it’s because they see some kind of benefit or effect, right?Unless they’re out of their minds, why would I put myself through a morning ritual for years if it gave me nothing in return? Logical, isn’t it? Oh… Maybe because some people are “afraid” of their doctor… THE doctor said so… And? Is the doctor your father?! Is he God?!If the only “benefit” (or torture, if you’re not crazy in the head) is emotional blunting… (Yeah, yeah, it exists. Don’t pretend otherwise. I’ve heard and seen several weirdos say that antidepressants were “great.” What’s next, are they going to say they “love” them? These idiots should sell their souls to the devil on their own and leave decent people out of it!!!)If that’s the benefit, then someone who deliberately takes them to experience that effect is a drug addict. That’s why this makes me sick, far beyond whether they have more or fewer symptoms. I don’t care about that. It’s the fact that we endured that drugged state for years, when it terrified us almost immediately! So then, when I hear these people claiming to be “cured,” saying things like, “What’s it like on the other side?” “Oh, it’s wonderful…!” Of course it’s wonderful, you idiot! That was YOUR LIFE! You’ve been numbing yourself for so long that you don’t even know who you used to be anymore, and now you’re making videos in front of people telling them, “It’s wonderful”?!And besides, why do we hear so little, if anything at all, from these people about what led them to take these drugs in the first place? Or why they took them for so long? That’s an interesting question, isn’t it? I’d really like to know! If they were truly honest, they’d be honest all the way, wouldn’t they? An honest person doesn’t tell the truth only 40% of the time!Excuse me, but I’m someone with an EXTREMELY strong sense of integrity. I have been morally broken by this whole ordeal. Yes, there are still people with that quality in 2026. I cannot believe that a lie is what lies at the root of the loss of the most precious thing I had within me…This is why I believe it is important to make a distinction between a bona fide drug addict, talking to his fellow addict, the psychiatrist, with the two of them understanding each other in their own language, and someone who has built their life through their own hard work, only to find themselves psychologically weakened for one reason or another, and makes the “logical” choice of going to a specialist in that field. Please don’t lump us all together.I hope you understand that there is no offence intended in what I’m saying. The underlying message is simply that it can be morally hurtful to hear that you have to suffer just as much, or even more, at the hands of people who surrendered themselves to a drugged state for years, when others never wanted any part of that in the first place. It is only fair and respectful to recognise that distinction. I’m not saying they deserve less support or that they suffer any less, far from it! I’m simply saying that they didn’t start out with the same mindset.Psychiatrists are just pathetic people who attract other pathetic people, that’s all…birds of a feather flock together, as they say. ( filthflies — that’s the term I was looking for! 🤣🤣)We should never have been dragged into any of this. The problem with violent people is that they tend to drag others into their depravity… whether they get “legally” high (and/or otherwise) makes no difference to me. I just pity them. I’d even like to be able to do something to help them, honestly. But making sure they provide others with honest, fair, and balanced information? That matters to me. 1 hour ago1 hr Author Guys, I’m being told there are cases of COVID going around at the moment. Maybe that’s what I have 😂Oooh... 😏 that makes me think of something that would really work in our favor if the world went back into COVID lockdown, wouldn’t it? We wouldn’t be the only ones waiting for our lives to return to normal...
