April 22Apr 22 Author Hello everyone. I'm back from my trip and feeling pretty good. Had a great time but left exhausted and over-stimulated for sure. It did not help that my noon flight home changed to a red eye at 1 AM. I was about to drop so we got another night at the hotel. We just had dinner there and then laid down to rest for some hours before we left to the airport. It was extremely crowded the last day and casino smoke was getting to me. I missed the last night dose. I felt so bad I did not want to chance it with the mirt. I did not notice the missing dose which is great.I am now down to .12 mg mirt and soon to be at .1 mg. I am just going to try and take it easy the rest of the next two months as I finish the taper. Keep going, it gets better. Marie. April 22Apr 22 Glad the trip went well. I hate it when flights are delayed, happened to me coming back from New York once. Exhausted by the time the plane took off. Was in a daze once I landed back in Heathrow. Sorry you missed your dose, good you didn’t notice! You are getting so close now, great to see, I like your plan, take it easy, you’ve worked so hard to get here, don’t jump too soon and regret it. The family situation is serious and unfortunately it's going to go on for a very long time. It was quite shocking when I found out. I have to keep it close, only family can talk about it, really serious. There can be a positive outcome from it though. I am a tough girl and I know how to make spaces for peace and calm for myself. I will be okay. It is though affecting my sleep. I am having a barbecue for Mother's Day and going out for my favorite dessert and coffee. Happy day. My roses are about to bloom. I love distractions. As far as jumping off and crashing, I have a plan for this. You know how I say I'm getting off in May, June, etc. I believe when I get to about .04 mg I will have a very long hold. Maybe I will have the patience to hold 2 months. This will give me time to see if any w/d catches up. I got burned big time by dropping off trazodone at .4 mg and it hit me hard after 6 weeks. Had to reinstate and learned my lesson. Mirt is much stronger than trazodone. I will be careful since I'm positive these cuts cascade. Thank you. May 20May 20 Author Hi Chippy. I put a 7.5 mg pill in a container. I use oral syringes (1 ml syringe, 5 ml syringe) to put in 3.75 mls of water. I let it sit for 15 minutes and shake it up. I then add 3.75 mls of maple syrup,I shake it up and draw out my dose using the 1 ml syringe.Every tick (line) on the 1 ml syringe is .02 ml.My dose now is .06 mg, so I draw out .06 ml with the 1 ml syringe. So you make a 1:1 solution but a 50/50 ratio water to maple syrup. All you need to do is use a bigger ratio. How big is up to you. You can double it or treble it or quadruple if you want! Depends on how fine a control you want on your syringe. You then just multiply the dose by that amount to get the correct liquid to take in ml.So if you did 4 times. You would do 15ml water, 15ml maple syrup to make 30ml liquid (4 times). Then to take your current dose of 0.06mgai you would take 0.24ml of the liquid. Or for your new dose of 0.04mgai you would take 0.16ml.😃 I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. May 28May 28 Author Hello. So it's getting close now. I'm going to cut to .04 mg mirt in the next few days. It's a bit scary, the end of the taper. I'll go to .02 and hang out there for a couple weeks, cut to .01, and I'm done. I guess I'll say a prayer for myself to be well and thrive. I am going to treat myself really good and have distractions galore. I've lost 60 pounds since my top weight polydrugged, so that's good. I'll be busy with trying to lose my final 20 lbs.
