Sorry to hear that you're struggling with these symptoms @Some0n3. Personally I've always gotten headaches/migraines once in a while, but in withdrawal I get them much more often and they come and go

Thank you Chippy! Its been alot of work to get into the mindset that i have currently so i have definitely moved forward despite still having symptoms that seem reluctant to go away.

It is great to see mate, It will serve you well. We all slip here and there so it is a continued practice but with time it gets easier and of course during that time we are healing even though sticky symptoms :)

Exactly! Even i slip at times but its natural i think and letting emotions out is good instead of bottling them in.

Hey @SarahMc thanks for checking in on me! I for some reason totally missed this comment. I dont know if it even showed up in my inbox but im seeing it now! As for the DP/DR and brain fog. I havent noticed any substantial improvements, theyre still there at every second of the day. But as you mentioned, i too have noticed that they like to go up and down in intensity. On a scale from 10 mine would most likely usually be atleast at a 7 or 8 but when it hits 10, oh boy is it hard to process anything. It truly does feel like someone pumped more anesthetic straight into my brain or something haha. The visual snow and at times blurrier vision doesnt help either but well, it is what it is. it makes me feel better knowing that im not alone with these things. Were in this together!

I'm sorry to hear that the brain fog & DP/DR have been stubborn for you too. I've had a couple little dirty windows where the fog has gone down to maybe a 4 or 5/10 but for the past month or so it's been stubbornly hanging on at a 7 or 8 again. And you're right, none of us should be in this position but it is nice to have company! There are so many great people here in the indefinite holding club and I know that slowly but surely our symptoms will lessen and we'll get to a place where we can safely start our tapers 😊

Clonazepam - up to 1 mg/day as needed - March to May 2025, quick taper off

Pristiq - 50 mg/day from Aug 2025 to mid-Oct 2025 (quick cross-taper from Zoloft); 100 mg/day from Oct 2025 to Dec 2025; back down to 50 mg/day from Dec 2025 to Jan 2026

@Some0n3 this is so true on letting out the uncomfortable feeling and emotions. I literally called my sister Anna in Ohio, who has been my rock through this whole ordeal, and just cried time a blubbering baby. But hey' when all the tears were shed it made me feel better. We all have to remember myself included, it's ok to not be okay and if we shed a few tears it jus God cleansing our soul. I kinda refer to it as a purification system, clean out the old so the new has a place to flourish. Hope your having a better day.

Thank you for your message! Your sister sounds like a lovely person! It is true that crying and letting everything out at times can really help one feel better.

Hope everyone is doing as well as they can!

Me and my mom moved into a new apartment and the move is basically done now. My brothers came to help us which made it easier of course. The past two nights have been pretty rough, i basically didint get any sleep on the night of saturday so i was of course tired while i was helping with the move on sunday. I ate pretty unhealthily last night so i felt nauseous during the night and then i had this almost constant horrible anxiety. that in combination with the nausea basically made me get no sleep last night too. I think that i slept around 1-2 hours and during the day i mightve gotten 1 more hour of sleep but idk. I am very stressed about that as i am worried that something similar will happen like in 2024 where i couldnt sleep due to extreme anxiety. i know that i shouldnt feed these fears but after a while of having around mild to moderate anxiety. The fact that my anxiety was so severe all of a sudden does scare me. I mightve also had some teeth chattering but i dont remember. Im still anxious now but im hoping that i can get some better sleep tonight. Im wondering if maybe the move stressed me out or maybe im in a bit of a wave, could also be both but i dont know.

Congrats on getting through the move, that's a big deal in WD! I'm sorry to hear you've been struggling with sleep and anxiety though. Could be just a normal wave that was coming no matter what, or could be that the stress of the move brought on a wave. Either way though, you've deal with waves before and you know that this will pass. I know it's hard, and I've dealt with a lot of sleep anxiety myself, but the absolute best thing to do is just to put aside thoughts about sleep and to accept that your body will get the sleep it needs. Many others on here have experienced bad sleep and anxiety and gotten through it, and you will too. You've got this.

Thank you so much for your support and for the congratulations! I really needed to read something like this. The sleep anxiety from before was awful so i have this fear that itll start happening again and that i cant get rid of it. But i know that it will pass and that i shouldnt stress too much about it because it makes me feel worse. Ive been having this constant awful feeling today that is hard to describe but it feels like its hitting me deeper than normal anxiety and of course my thoughts have been at a darker place but i will get through this. ive gotten through these exact things before.

@Some0n3 I think it's both the move and not sleeping and as you mentioned you didn't eat as healthy as you normally do because of the move, it might take a bit to settle into the new place and eating back on track, but I think you'll be fine. I know myself if I slip a bit to much on my eating my system let's me know, and I suffer a couple of nights of broken sleep or just a few hours. Hope your having a better day. Ooh, as far as the anxiety ramping, I do believe things will settle when you get in a ruetean with the new place. Hugs my friend xxx take care🤗

Thank you for your comment! Sending a virtual hug to you! I have days sometimes where i eat unhealthily pretty late and usually it amounts to heartburn and a bit of nausea, depending on what ive eaten. luckily antacids seem to help a bit at times. I think that still being a bit uncomfortable in a new environment mightve definitely played a part in my anxiety along with the lack of sleep. I also suspect that one of the reasons why i didint get basically any sleep on saturday night was because i didint have my bed in the new apartment yet so i had to sleep on a mattress topper? (I dont know if thats what its called) i have noticed that my stomach definitely lets me know if i eat too many sweets or something haha. Sweets and things like soda and chips are some of my unhealthy habits along with cigarettes. Ive stopped consuming caffeine and alcohol for the time being though and of course eat actual food daily. I try to limit my junk food intake at times but sometimes its hard. i do workout and usually use a bicycle for transportation which i hope helps atleast a little.

Im still anxious now but im hoping that i can get some better sleep tonight. Im wondering if maybe the move stressed me out or maybe im in a bit of a wave, could also be both but i dont know.

Congratulations on the move, and well done for taking this on during WD!

Yes 100% this can cause a bit of a wobble in WD for sure! The nervous system is so sensitive right now, I have seen this in myself and in others I talk to regularly on here, that additional stress outside of the normal bubble we are in can be overwhelming.

Main thing is don't feed it. Dont add to it with second fear. Just float and accept and trust that given enough time this will all calm down for you. Cause it will! 👊 You got this mate!
