I feel on the verge of them some days , but pretty mild and I know it is the drug aggravating me.I hope you stay on that upswing, sounds good. Hugs to you xxThanks for stopping by even though you are going through your own hell @Tracey. It seems I’m still on a very slow upswing, the mood symptoms are still rough but my sleep has been consistently better so hopefully it’s just a matter of a little more time. August 15Aug 15 Author Hi all — bit of an update from me. At the risk of oversharing (😆) I’ve finally been told I tested positive for BV. This explains the discomfort and urinary symptoms I’ve been having, even though those aren’t the typical BV symptoms. I’m really hoping the chronic inflammation associated with BV at least partially explains the fact that I’ve been stuck in a wave for most of the past month. The wave started when the BV symptoms started and the worst WD symptoms have coincided with the worst BV symptoms, so I think there’s some support for my theory 😅.WD may also have caused/contributed to the BV because it can be caused by hormonal fluctuations and WD has definitely wreaked havoc on my hormones. But I’ll never know for sure.Anyways, since I haven’t been able to fully get rid of my BV symptoms for about a month, I’m now taking antibiotics. I requested the topical version instead of the oral version to try to minimize any potential side effects. I also read that using a probiotic post-antibiotics can help the good, protective bacteria re-establish so I’ll do that too. Here’s hoping I can get this cleared up and get out of this wave. Keep your fingers crossed for me! 🤞🏼💜 Edited August 15Aug 15 by SarahMc I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice.
