July 27Jul 27 Author Thanks all 💜💜. Today’s update is that I may have freaked out for nothing. Yesterday afternoon my UTI symptoms started improving quickly and this morning they’re pretty minimal. I’m going to wait it out another couple days and hope they keep improving instead of going to the doctor today. I did get some d-mannose which seems to be helping (thanks @LostinCanada) so I think this is UTI that’s just a bit more stubborn than the ones I’ve had before. On the downside, it seems like my body fighting the infection and the lack of sleep have amplified my WD symptoms. I woke up last night with a horrific headache, the worst I’ve had in a couple months, and I’ve just generally had a WD setback the past couple days. Hoping a few days of rest will get me back on track. Appreciate the support everyone, thanks for keeping me out of my crazy WD-brain induced spiral! 😅😂 I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. July 27Jul 27 SarahMc, very happy to hear the UTI is setting down, yes our systems sure do give us a run for our money. Definitely don't over think it, our bodies are amazing and have the capably of healing themselves. I know I’ll come back out of it but it’s hard to see the other side right now. Before this I had been making decent progress so I really hope I can get back there soon.I’d really love to hear from others who got sick or injured, thrown into a wave, and then recovered to their pre-wave baseline.Im so sorry to hear this Sarah. As I mentioned to you yesterday I was thrown into a bad one after that really bad sunburn on my back. I was convinced this was it, no way out this time. But i got back to baseline. This is so unpredictable that you could feel better again tomorrow or in 3 days time. Flow with the wave, surrender and distract yourself. You WILL feel better and this WILL pass. ❤️ 2016 - Sertraline 50mg2016 - Sertraline 100mg.I didnt know better and rarely took it consistently.June 2024 - went down to 75mg2025 - Down to 50mg2026 - down to 25mgApril 2026 - hit by withdrawal and kindlingReinstated April 2026 - 25mgMay 27th 2026 - Upped to 50mg
