@SarahMc this is wonderful to hear, a 1-3/10 is good. Yes, listening to or body's even though we want off these drugs, is definitely the best choice as to not disrupt the fixes that are being made. Myself and others here thank you so much for the wonderful support you give to everyone. In time I can't wait to hear your success story, you are a true worrier. Hugs my dear friend. 🤗❤️

Hi all — bit of an update from me. At the risk of oversharing (😆) I’ve finally been told I tested positive for BV. This explains the discomfort and urinary symptoms I’ve been having, even though those

So sorry about the past few weeks @SarahMc but good to hear that it isn't as severe as it used to.

Your system is clearly doing the work of healing and you're doing an amazing job staying attentive and giving it the proper space when I know well how hard it is not to give in to the temptation to rush things, kudos to you.

Keep handling it wonderfully and thank you for all your efforts, dedication and support to the community even on tough days. You are such brave warrior!!

Appreciate you, we all do 🤍

Hey all -- quick update from me. Today I've been holding for six months. A while back I committed to holding for six months and then checking back in with myself to see if I was ready to start my taper. I think it's safe to say that I'm definitely not stable enough to start tapering, but I've made quite a bit of progress.

I've been back in a wave the past couple of weeks, and most of my symptoms have popped up again, but for the most part they haven't been even close to as bad as they were at my worst. I'm calling today a wave day, but my symptoms are maybe a 5/10 -- only a few months ago I would've called 5/10 a dirty window. Before this wave I had a window that lasted 3-4 weeks, my longest yet by far. During that window I had some of my best days yet, getting down to even a 2/10 at times. Even my brain fog, which is absolutely constant, started to lift significantly.

My aim isn't to feel 100% before tapering, but I'd like to feel like I'm in that 1-3/10 range that we always preach for 6 weeks or so with no really bad days. I put my body through hell for a year with frequent drug changes and I can feel that it's still catching up. So I'm going to continue my hold for another three months and check in with myself first thing in the new year. I hate taking these drugs every day and more than anything just want to throw them in the trash and be done with them, but all in good time!

Lots of love to you all, I'd be lost without you! 💜

You're doing amazing 👏 so strong and thoughtful- amazing woman! So happy to have met you, all of you. One day we'll be in Salem together celebrating 🍾
