December 20, 2025Dec 20 Hey all, EDP6893 here. I was active a lot on survivingantidepressants before it shut down. My introduction thread if anyone wants to read what happened to me previously is here (https://www.survivingantidepressants.org/forums/topic/30833-epd6893-tapering-effexor-troubles/). Long story short I have severe protracted withdrawal that's lasted over a year now. Very painful. Lots of nasty symptoms. I am also going through an incredibly stressful and dark period of my life at the moment. I'm being forced to move out of my house even though I'm still deep in withdrawal hell. Anyways, that's my story. Late 2020 stop Effexor 350mg in 2 months by psychiatrist. Withdrawal and new disability (functional reflux/ibs)Late 2021 stop abilify on my own. Goes perfectly fine.Late 2022 Effexor 37.5mgLate 2024 Trying to Taper Effexor againNovember 2024 -Stopped amitriptyline in order to switch to Fluoxetine.December 2024 -Stopped Effexor 56.5mg and switched to Fluoxetine 20mg.January 2025 -Reduced Fluoxetine 20mg to 10mg.June 2025 - Started DaridorexantLate March 2026 - Stopped Daridorexant Current medications:-Morning: Fluoxetine 10mg, omeprazole 20mg, famotadine 20mg-Evening: Omeprazole 20mg, omeprazole 10mg, famotadine 20mg Still going through withdrawal hell.

December 23, 2025Dec 23 Author Today I'm going to FINALLY visit that new apartment. Only took them the entire year waiting for it -_- I hope it's not too noisy. Good luck this is very exciting! Let us know how this goes!!! It went good. The apartment is a lot better than I was expecting. And it was mostly quiet. I could still hear traffic a little bit but the were no curtains and the house was mostly empty. It had a lot of stuff I didn't know about such as a washing machine that also dries clothes which will be very helpful, it has 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, one of which will become a gaming room. The bathrooms already have anti slip coating too. Hello EPD6893, I wish you all the best for your new apartment! It must be horrible to be forced to move while in withdrawal. You really cannot need any stress now… I feel so sorry for you. May all go well and as smoothly as possible. Thinking of you and hoping for the best, Nemina Thanks. December 28, 2025Dec 28 I am so worried about moving out. Genital burning pain is still very bad. Terrified it will last forever, but it doesn't make sense why it could last forever when it went away before. Could it be that all the stress and issues with moving out has brought this withdrawal into existence or made it last far longer than normal? Try to not worry about it. Just focus on the day. Tomorrow will sort itself out so some extent. By that I mean deal with the things that actually need dealing with for the future but don't spend time worry about things that haven't happened yet. If you find yourself there just forgive yourself for it don't be angry and bring it back to today. Keep doing this. Same with past memories. There is no doubt additional stress can make things worse. So it's so important we do our best to minimise the stress and keep life as simple as we can, and keep tabs on our mindset when it comes to dealing with the stress we can avoid. I really hope that once the move happens you feel more settled within yourself and find comfort in having your own space. Chippy I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice.
