Okay update,

So I feel I'm back into a small wave again for  last couple of days. The anxiety has been coming on all day on and off not sleeping the best at night waking up numerous times . I was feeling so good and it's just so disappointing to feel like this again but anyway what can we do except ride it out?

Hopefully it’s a short little setback. It’s so frustrating feeling good and then going back into a wave. I hope you feel better soon cheeky.

Hi @cheeky I am beyond saddened to hear of you suffering, it's SO WRONG of Big pharma and

Doctors, to put people they are meant to CARE for though such horrific torture. WORDS cannot describe

the pain and suffering we are ALL going through. To think we actually TRUSTED them!!!!!!  NEVER AGAIN.

I sincerely hope you lift Cheeky and into a huge long lasting window, we have all suffered enough of this

terrible situation we have fallen into through absolutely NO fault of ourselves. Sending you strength, and

all the spiritual power I can,    ((((((((hugs))))))))  Cheeky.

Sorry @cheeky tough ride this isn't it. The worse thing when you think you are going ok and then hit by a wave. So demoralising. Keep going! Youre doing great! 🙂

Okay, for the last three days I feel like I’ve fallen back into a wave. This one is milder than a December but it’s still incredibly difficult to cope with. The mornings are by far the worst. I wake up with a tight chest, dread and chaos in my mind.

There are times during the day when I feel normal again but it fluctuates. I’m still functioning, going to work and doing my daily tasks but I’m struggling internally.

I hate that I’m holding my dose and suffering like this. If I was tapering at least it would be somewhat worth it. I feel like I’m stuck.

Hi everyone, I’m Cheeky from Australia 👋

I’ve been on antidepressants for many years and am currently navigating withdrawal, with the usual windows and waves that come with it. I’m here to connect, learn, and support others who truly understand this journey. I was also part of Surviving Antidepressants in the past and would love to reconnect with any old friends who might be here too. Looking forward to making some new connections 💙

My thread on SA

Hi ...I just read your thread.  I'm on the same drugs...though I never had a baby that had to taper too. How horrifying what these doctors do to us!!

Hope to be one of your new friends here. I wasn't active on SA, though I was grateful for it.

Welcome.

January 2001: klonopin, depakote, wellbutrin. Was experiencing overload from: getting married, selling my house, quitting my job, taking care of one grandmother as my other one died. All in the same year.  Asked Dr. for support and got called "mixed bi-polar" cuz I didn't have real bi polar symptoms.  AND I ACCEPTED THAT. UGH

Always felt sick on the meds so I would taper off. Then I would get EXTREME insomnia which I tolerated for several months before I would reinstate some combo. I've done this about 8 times. I'm extremely sensitive so I take really low doses. Still I feel sick.

Currently tapering off 1.4 mg paroxetine. Started at 20. Also on prasozin, 1 mg, Trileptal, 75, seroquel 50.

5/6/26 now on 2 mg paroxetine.

7/15/26 1.4 mg paroxetine

Hello @cheeky I'm also on Paxil with a little taste of Seroquel along the way, totally understand the frustration and being stuck, sorry you feel that way it's really tough however I'm glad you're still able to maintain a routine, work and function, it may not feel much but it's a lot given the circumstances.

Sending strength and hoping you feel better soon.

I'm still in this wave , I woke this morning feeling nauseous ,never  had that before so that's a new symptom . I'm trying to stay positive and using my coping tools but I feel this is taking a toll on me . I'm grieving the life that I had and thinking of all the mistakes I've made . I tried coming off these drugs so many times i

just never did it the right way ( if only I knew back then what I know now ) . I have just a beautiful like and grateful for everything and I've always been a happy bubbly person . How the hell can these little pills do this 😞

Are you able to drink some ginger tea? Sometimes making a DIY hydration drink helps as well.

Are you able to drink some ginger tea? Sometimes making a DIY hydration drink helps as well.

It's hard not to do at times. Sorry you are having a rough day.

Hopefully today will get better. Big hugs. ❤️🙏😘

I think I need to stop having coffee in the morning and have some type of protein shake . I'm a big coffee drinker and it's one thing I didn't want to give up but it doesn't help with a cortisol in the morning and I think it makes it worse.

On Paxil since 1995. Seroquel added 2014 after withdrawal crash. History of too-fast tapers/reinstatements.

Sorry about your struggles cheeky. I know how awful it is. I’m a big coffee drinker too and I need it in the morning. It does make my symptoms worse in a wave but I don’t care because I feel like crap anyway so I keep drinking it. I don’t think it prolongs the wave it just makes symptoms a little more uncomfortable. Some things I refuse to let these drugs take away. That includes coffee and cigars. I’m not recommending it, just letting you know my thoughts.

I might try decaf , good idea . I also need to change my diet . I have way too much sugar . I don't want to lose any weight though I'm already very fine . ( that's the one good thing about this is the weight loss .
