Again, you need to accept the fear is driven by anxiety looking for its next place to get at you. You've expressed fear about a lot of different things in the last few weeks, so you can see how the one things that's common is the fear itself--its just expressing itself in different ways. @Chippy was spot on--you know the answers yourself. If you practice acceptance that the intrusive thoughts will come but that you don't need to react to them, they'll lose their power. It takes practice but you can do it.

Yes, you can get better. I’m not an expert on reinstatement so I’ll let others who are answer that. But you can help yourself tremendously if you take our advice about distraction and other coping techniques. I'm starting to worry I wont heal I had a great week up until the scary blood vessel popped in my eye (it's not that bad) but still I've never had that happen and the burn stings have come back and the anxiety. I'm really scared I reinstated but I get worried that 20mg won't be enough to stablize on since I was on 60mg before and then I went ct for 2 months and I'm trying to fix this but I don't know how and im trying really hard but all I see is people taking 5 years and even then not feeling better and people talking about losing themselves and I don't wanna go away im scared

One thing you may want to look into is Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). It teaches you techniques to accept the intrusive thoughts but not to respond to them right away. Delaying a reaction by even a few minutes gives you a chance to get some perspective and calm your nervous system. It works really well!

  • Still have that slight hum in my legs after I walk around and lay down (happend after I tried to do that ct of the pregablin it's way less now)

  • Easily stressed tho

Good news

I do notice my left side seems to get the rough of it more. I recently after crying got Petechiae on the top of my eye lid and neck and back which spooked me and got this werid white skin stuff that I wiped off my cheek and eye after the cry. But yeah my left side of my body gives rhe most trouble and I know when it comes to nerves healing one side may be more senstive yeah? But yeah I do notice tho that rapid movement on screens still over stimulated me. Just a lil worried the left side will start not to work or something like I'll be come blind or deaf on left

Hey @Jacky Rose

I know you worry about these things, it really is the same advice I have for you as before. Learning to break this loop with distraction and acceptance, and working on your health anxiety, it is good to not seek assurance all the time, when you have had this already. :)

Hiya update time.

So I've been reinstating 20mg (look at med timeline to see what I've been doin) for about now 2 months going officially on my third month.

I've got (symptoms began when reinstated

  • Brain fog

  • Mostly stitched sleep now

  • Easily stressed / anxiety

  • Sometimes nerve burning

I'm still worried I won't stablize on this dose due to me being so late on reinstating waiting 2 months after accdineatlly quiting prozac 60mg. I'm trying to fix this and I'm just scared. I see people who stay off completely take 5 years or more and worry even if I have now gotton back on its to late for me. I know everyone says just calm down and I am TRYING but to be honest I could use some support truly someone to talk to about this just anyone at all. I didn't mean to do this
