(note that these are only the first prescription dates since i dont remember how long i was on them. there are also some prescriptions of the same stuff that were prescribed again at a later date so i dont remember if ive tried them again or not.)

I couldn't agree more with @Some0n3 wd mind is extremely deceptive and it's hard to see beyond that, as long as there is a chemical effect it feels very real but it's not, there is a way out and you're keep getting closer, try to accept that it's a process, brutal at times but temporary.

1998 forced on cipramil *no anxiety/depression background*

Over the years all kinds of SSRI/SNRI/antipsychotics/stabilizers due to apparently side effects/withdrawal

Many attempts to quit over the years with failure (extremely rapid taper followed by doctors' guidens)

Current attempt-Paxil 20 mg:

6/24 20 mg to 5 mg-severe AKA

9/24 Increase to 20-AKA continues

10/24 stopped completely-AKA out of control 

11/24 Zoloft bridge attempt-25 mg to 75 mg+Seroquel-AKA continued-stopped them CT.

12/24 Back on Paxil 10mg (0.1789g)-some stabilization-from here tapered by about 30% each time (don't remember doses and dates).

2025 - 7.10 0.0558g (3.11mg)/7.11 3% 0.0541g (3.02mg)/4.12 1% 0.0535g (2.98mg)

2026 - 3.1 1.5% 0.0526g (2.93mg)/9.1 8.5% 0.0480g (2.68mg)/16.2 1.8% 0.0470g (2.62mg)/21.3 1% 0.466 (2.60mg)/23.4 2.2% 0.455g (2.54mg)/8.7 21.7% 0.0356.5g (2mg)/15.8 updose by 11.7% 0.0400g (2.23mg)

Supplements:

Magnesium Glycinate - started 28.5.26 1 capsule 200mg in the morning - Increased brain fog and muscle stiffness - stopped after two weeks.

Iron - liquid, quarter of recommended dose - increased anxiety and burning sensation - stopped after two weeks.

Saffron - started 8.7.26 1 capsule 30mg in the morning - pretty immediate improvement in terms of terror, body pain and sleep.

Came here becuase I too am suffering from dpdr- it’s my main withdrawal symptom and it is debilitating me :( just want you to know your not alone

Paxil (Only drug ever):

2006: 20mg | 2008: 10mg

May 2014–Nov 2014: Tapered 10mg to 5mg (alternating days)/ Jan 2015–May 2015: Updosed 10mg -> 20mg (adverse reaction the day after 20mg, was told to “wait and see”)

Sept 2015–Aug 2017: Tapered 20mg to 10mg

Aug 2017–Mar 2018: 9mg -> 8mg -> 7.8mg -> 7.75mg /Sept 2018–Jan 2019: 7.36mg -> 7.2mg -> 7mg (Jan '19: Crash) /Jan 2019: 0.25mg Ativan (once); 2.5mL Child Benadryl (once) / Feb 2019–Jan 2023: Reinstated 7.28mg; Mar '19: 7.36mg (Long Hold) /Jan 2023–June 2023: 7.12mg -> 6.88mg -> 6.60mg -> 6.50mg / June 2023–Apr 2025: Tapered 6.5mg to 5.5mg / Apr 2025–Dec 2025: 5.4mg -> 5.2mg

No other meds/drugs/supps/alcohol. Ativan/Benadryl used once only (2019).

Hey, hope you’re doing ok!

Started 5mg lexapro 10/10/25 for anxiety. Initially helped but had adverse neurological affects in my bladder. Had to stop after two weeks and tapered over a month. From December to currently I’ve been withdrawing since with waves and windows. About 60% better, thank God. Currently using Xanax prn. I will not touch another ssri and will be seeking God and healthy lifestyles.

11 september 2025: 5mg fluoxetine 

19 september 2025; 2.5mg fluoxetine 

2 oktober 2025: 0mg

 

I had to cut my pills in half and quarters, so and don’t think I had accurate dosages.
