Not only will it help get the Vit D you need and some fresh air, it puts a little event into a routine. Routine I found very important, just creating little events throughout the day which you always do helps pass the time. If these events are healthy practices, like eating good foods or sitting out doors for a bit, or taking a little gentle walk then it is a win win. Sometimes it might not feel good in the moment. I really relate with that, but it is still important to push yourself to keep these things up. Remember nothing too crazy and exhausting, just little first steps that is all. xxx I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. Your flight or fight instinct is constantly on high alert, and that causes physical, emotional, and mental issues. Normally, your higher mental functions keep your fear instinct under control. For example, if you're driving and someone cuts you off, you react to avoid an accident, but pretty soon you calm down and keep driving. You won't stop driving forever because you're afraid of another accident. Your higher brain will tell you its a one-time thing and you'll go on driving. But when you're in heightened anxiety, your body and mind constantly looking for danger, even when there is none. So you tell yourself you'll panic if you go outside or that you can't do something routine because it'll be overstimulating.Only you can decide what you can handle and what's too much. But as we've said, locking yourself in your room leaves you alone with your flight or flight thoughts, and you may find you are able to less and less. This may not be the right time till you feel a little less frightened, but when you're ready, we're here to help you try to challenge your fears. Right now you just need to get through the day, don't worry if you are doing enough to heal, your brain will heal inspite of you. If you can manage some normal things, this is good. It will distract you from how you feel, and this helps pass the time and reduces suffering.Wishing you a better day today xxx I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. June 2Jun 2 @caitlinnathanie Hey, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. But I have to emphasize at the same time, while you’re going through, you’re also getting through it. Every day your mind freaks that today is it, that this is impossible… the next day does come. However insufferable it might be, you are getting through this. Whatever fear you have repeating in your mind never does come to pass. Thats the anxiety and this temporary condition, not you, that is yelling very loudly and convincingly of these things. It’s hell, yes, myself and many others have gone through strong variations of it. Take it day by day, don’t look too far ahead nor behind. Treat yourself like a person who is recovering, give yourself grace and TLC. Lots of it.. Keep expectations low. Stay low stimulation and distract yourself. If these feelings fluctuate, it’s your body working at recovery. Getting back on track. The worst of this hell is like a very painful scab. It hurts more when the nervous system is regulating itself again, just like an itchy wound. I know you’re going to be ok! We are made to heal ❤️ Started 5mg lexapro 10/10/25 for anxiety. Initially helped but had adverse neurological affects in my bladder. Had to stop after two weeks and tapered over a month. From December to currently I’ve been withdrawing since with waves and windows. About 60% better, thank God. Currently using Xanax prn. I will not touch another ssri and will be seeking God and healthy lifestyles.“No weapon formed against me shall prosper” Isaiah 54:17“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.“ Ephesians 6:12”Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Cor 10:5”Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Neh 8:10
