I have also been getting some weird electric shock sensations in some of my toes or ankles occasionally. Once every day or every other day. Starting this month since the flare up began.

Very common on this journey. It's a sign your body is healing and finding it's natural stability..

yeah if it makes things worse, stop it.

I don't recommend taking any other pharmaceutical drug as you can from some stuff get injured even more with a fragile nervous system.

Yeah ok I'm gonna stop it then.

I hope I have not set back my recovery by a long time because of me stopping daridorexant. It feels much worse because of this pain.

5th day in a row now of needing to go to the toilet every 30 mins or more.

Have I given myself Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction, or permanent nerve damage?

If you think it has worsened things for you stopping it, is a good idea. Maybe the ri was too high. Maybe ri just wasn’t going to work for you.

Try not to worry. Lightys advice is sound. Make a choice that feels right and trust your body to put this right for you.

It's pretty much impossible for me not to worry all the time. When I am in so much pain I can't ignore it and it makes me stressed constantly. That's why this forum has been helpful for me. Hearing you guys' reassurance and advice is really good.

I wish I could just accept things and have my life be a blur until I was better again. But I can't do it. I have to keep going for walks occasionally. I can't just accept not leaving the house because of the pain. I have managed to go for some walks, during small periods of the + days where the pain wasn't as bad.

So do you think this is the ri? Or is it just your sleep cycle is out of sync?

The RI. The timing matches perfectly. On the night I took 25mg I wake up at 3am. Then the next night I take 1/4 and wake up at 5:30am.

Ok. Then it’s not working for you perhaps. Things can worsen at first so it is your choice if you stick it out or just stop. Things may settle down in a few days. Not having a consistent dose doesn’t help things.

Dealing with constant/regular/chronic pain is very difficult, even for someone who has nothing else going on like withdrawal/psychiatric drug harms. It wears you down, and it is very difficult not to let it creep into everything. You're right, it is very stressful.

You're doing really well getting outdoors when you can, I'm sure that's been quite difficult.

I'm also glad that you find this place supportive.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes.

I just accept it and do what I can do, it's not that complicated, you just have to accept even when it's not easy, and not overthink.

Imagine you wanted to buy something and couldn't afford it (random example).

One guy would be so annoyed and say to himself 'Oh no i can't afford this ! My life sucks so much I can't get anything nice and only cheap things, why wasnt i born rich bla bla bla'.

The other guy just accepts it and appreciates what he can buy and have and appreciates the simple things.

Who suffers in pain and who lives in peace in that situation?

Thanks. I had a non + day yesterday, and I woke up at 6am last night which was good. Hopefully this means the waking up in the night issue will go soon.

Everything will slowly balance out, it won't be linear and waves will hit in various forms but don't resist or be afraid, it's all part of the process.

Well done @EDP6893 you're coping great.

@EDP6893 with regards to acceptance its not easy I struggle with it in a bad wave ,but sometimes I look at it rather than try and accept it just don't have any expectations, if you don't expect a day to go a certain way and it doesn't you won't be disappointed..a lot of the time it's our expectations of our journey ,just take each day as it comes and don't expect too much .

Had 3 good days in a row (it still hurts a lot but no needing to go to the toilet every hour or more). I wonder if I'll reach a new mile stone with the amount of good days or if it will suddenly go back again.

Still going through withdrawal hell.

That's a good sign. I hope you have more.
