I hope it hasn’t made it worse. Unfortunately a lot of the advice online isn’t good. It’s best to taper most things psycho active. It could be it’s adding to all this, but hard to know. Worth keeping it in mind, when judging your timescale though. Add it to Prozac’s long half life, and perhaps you can see why things might be more bumpy for you now than you may have hoped. April 25Apr 25 Author @Chippy @Fullhealing @Lighty Do you guys think I had set back my withdrawal recovery for years because I stopped the daridorexant? I don't want to believe this is the case but it's possible. But it doesn't seem that logical to me. Daridorexant is not known for causing any withdrawal, and is just a sleeping pill. It's not like I stopped effexor cold turkey for a 3rd time. And when I stopped daridorexant last year when that time it had also worn off-no extra withdrawals. I don't think it's likely to be the daridorexant. I think I am just very unlucky with my withdrawals and they have randomly gotten much worse. I don't want to believe this is the case but it's possibleNo I don’t think you set yourself back years. You can and will recover. daridorexant Is psychoactive so taking it and stopping it can likely have a similar effect to other kinds of drugs. Drug harm comes from not just ADs too. Best not to worry about it. I think if anything take some comfort that this isn’t just months of wd from Prozac there are other potential causes here, not forgetting the long fluoxetine half life. You’ll recover just the same. I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. Please speak to your health practitioner about your care. Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all. Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes. You say other drugs are the same as daridorexant because it's psycho active (aka it's just as bad as cold turkey-ing a drug like effexor), yet you tell me not to worry that I could've set my recover back by years? You've given me no reason not to worry other than "just don't"I think it is prozac withdrawal, because I did stop it last year and nothing happened so whatever.
