Some days are calmer in latter part of the day.

Other times, if things have been floaty and strange the first part of the day, terror hits later in the day.

If this info is somehow helpful, I got it, but just on a few times for a few seconds. On my left side of my abdomen, but also on my left side of my face, same time. But I never really had it. It happened recently and it is really something new for me. But, yeah, if feels like electric shocks.

Does the fact you get a bit calmer make it sound reasonable to split your dose. It sounds like as the drug lessens there might be a bit of relief? Splitting the dose may help?

Today, I’m getting worse as the day goes on.

It’s all so confusing.

Midday can be brutal.

I’ll post again tonight re time of symptoms easing.

If taking a dose late has thrown my system for a loop, would trying to split a dose do the same thing?

With a split dose you slowly move one away from the other. For example if you take your dose at 9 pm , you would take half then and half 30 minutes later.

Do that for a couple days, then try the next move... maybe the 9 pm dose at 8:30 pm....keep the 9:30 pm dose at the same time.

It is a long careful process.

Vestibular sensations (rocking bouncing dropping) worsening

Pit of stomach twisting with terror

Burning pelvis and electric back, hands, and feet and sides

Very Tight chest and diaphragm

8:00 pm able to lie quietly and doze with some activation present in background

Vestibular less noticeable

9:15 pm

Usual mirt dose

9:25 pm

Activation kicking in

Terror, pounding electricity

Popping sensations in back

Huge rocking, swaying, bouncing sensations

Vibrating motorized feeling

@Finni Please, I am really curious. Are we sharing something similar? Do you have a feeling that your stomach or diaphragm stars twisting and squeezing and then every other part of your body starts following. I mean, are your limbs and head and neck and pelvic area become tense because of that?? And twisted too, after all... Cramped. And because of that, your whole body lost his coordination?

It seems the reactivity has gotten worse since starting new batch of tablets two days ago. Same manufacturer

Although I’ve definitely had other times in the last month where I’ve been reactive all day long and then take a dose and get even more reactive. Akasthisia-like agitation has lasted all day then made worse by taking dose.

HI @Finni No electric currents. The abdominal myofascial pain brought me to my knees. That was about 6 weeks ago and I've been holding since. And I'm so glad I decided to hold. I'm now away from home on a trip and trying to make the most of this window. 🤗

I talked to Adele framer again today.

Such a kind and knowledgeable person ❣️

After hearing about my worsening preexisting neurological conditions, (mdds and vestibular migraine and central sensitization) she said this is one of those times she would consider adjunct medication to calm the CNS

My vestibular Neurologist had punted the decision back to Psychiatry and she said, “that was lazy.” (Amen to that)

I talked to my psychiatrist again this morning and he said since I’ve halfway tolerated Depakote before that we might want to start trying a very small dose of that. ( I read on vestibular neurology report that Lamictal has caused mouth and throat burning in the past- when I tried it 3 years ago. )

He called in the depakote liquid so I can go very small. I think I’m too afraid to try it by myself at home because I’ve had so many reactions to medication.

I also know that I can’t stay like this. So, so scary

I have to say Finni I 100% disagree with Adele on this. We know adding in more drugs ontop of a dysfunctional nervous system is very risky and honestly Im not sure what she is thinking here. Just my thoughts my friend.

Id not fall into this trap again Finni, slippery slope into more harm imo. If this was anyone other than Adele making this comment most on here would be telling you to not even consider it.

You have to do what you think is right, we are here for you what ever you decide.

Neurologist told me that psychiatry needed to figure it out.

When I told Adele she said that neurologist was lazy.
