August 6Aug 6 @Saar8srl I would consider trying a lower dose still to start with. Just be a little more cautious than 1mg. Try 0.5mg and hold that (unless you get signifcantly worse) for 7-10 days. Then come back and let us know how you feel. You can always increase this after that period gently if needed. I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. So again, I would wait for the full 14 days at 1 mg to see if you notice any improvements. If you still feel like it's necessary to go up it's best to do so extremely slowly and wait 7-14 days between each increase. So I would probably go to 1.1 mg and see how you feel.Reinstatement is not meant to fully resolve your symptoms, just to cushion things so they are a little more tolerable while you stabilize. Sometimes a very long hold (many months) is still needed before you feel truly stable. I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. August 10Aug 10 I won't say anything against going slowly when it comes to increasing the dose, but i will say you don't need to say "I need to wait to see what can happen". I will say Pay attention to what happens right at the beginning and later of course. dr. David Healy said that 95% of people feels some genital nubness 20 minutes after their first pill. And also that some random and regular dose of the pill (let's say 20 mg) is that high just to makes the things easier and more simple for doctors, not because a dose must be that high to see some real effects. Please share your observations for you and for us. 2009-2010: Sertraline (50 mg) 2011: Escitalopram (10 mg) 2009-2011: tried Olanzapine (5/2.5mg), Quetiapine (50/25mg) and Aripriprazole (low dosage) CT Escitalopram, being free for several moths 2012-2016: Fluoxetine (60 mg) 2016-2017: Venlafaxine (75 mg) 2016: just tried Duloxetine and Maprotiline 2017-2018: Mirtazapine (30/45mg) 2012-2018: Bupropion (300 mg) 2014-2018: Lamotrigine (50/100/150 mg) CT Bupropion, tapering Lamitrogine and Mirtazapine (practically CT, fast tapering)

Are we taking about month or years ?It's totally natural to want a timeline, but unfortunately there's really no way to say how long it will take you to recover. Everyone is different, and imposing artificial timelines on your recovery can actually cause more suffering if you end up taking longer than you initially expect, for example. The only thing we can really say is that the vast majority of people do recover given enough time. In the meantime, I think it's important to work on coping skills like patience, distraction and acceptance: Acceptance is key - Why does acceptance feel impossible? I know it's really tough, but I genuinely think these skills are key to getting through all this. I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. It’s a very low dose though …Im not sure where you heard this, 1mg has an outsized effect on the brain than higher doses. 1 is a low number not a low dose.As Sarah suggests hold for 7-14 days, note any worsening or improvements, let us know how things are each day and we can help you reassess. I would wait until at least day 10 and then perhaps we can look to increase the dose slightly and see how you go from there. Don't assume you need more drug or hyper focus on the dose. Also don't expect to feel perfect, we are only looking to cushion things for you and the improvements from RI can happen over a number of weeks whilst holding the dose. It is good you don't see a worsening, feel happy about this, its great news. I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. August 11Aug 11 A lot of people say, they don't have any windows, nothing unusual.I think that the real you will be known if you find the way out. Until that moment you/we have to see that we are leaving in some kind of matrix or parallel and interrupted reality of self (matrix). Real you has been "covered" somehow by something, but it don't need to be like this forever... It might just be due to all the drug changes and simply the fact that WD is incredibly scary and that exhaustion you get from having to deal with these symptoms probably also contributes to feeling depressed. When my WD started. I was also very much depressed and a part of why was because i was having to deal with all of the awful symptoms along with the feeling like my life was over but when i started trying to accept my situation, it eventually got a bit better little by little to the point that i can be positive at times even with all the nasty symptoms. For me i suspect that a part of the depression was triggered by the WD itself and another part was due to the exhaustion and horror from having to deal with all of the nasty symptoms.
