Appreciate that @Raymond thank you! A few rough days but maybe a tiny improvement for now so that's a lot.

I hope you're doing relatively ok today!

Thanks, I'm bad again today with fear sensation and chest fatigue...

I really don't understand this set back....my only logical explanation is that body takes a full year to heal before coming back to heal deeper....

08/01/2009- Klonopin 1mg, but took only .25mg when needed, and end up taking every day for 3 years. 08/01/2012 - Paraxotine 20 mg

12/2024- reinstated 5mg (.0740g)after cold turkey. First tapering 07/01/2025 = 1.2% , 09/01/2025 - another 1.4%. 10/01/2025- 4.79mg (.0716g) holding until further notice........04/17/26 resumed taper 0714g (4.78mg). 05/20/2026- .0712g (4.76mg, .28% cut). 06/09/2026- .0708g (4.73mg .56% cut). 06/30/2026 - .0706g (4.72mg .33%). 07/28/2026 - .0700g (4.68mg, .85%).

Truly sorry to hear that Raymond!

I think there's going to be symptoms for a long while, it just depends on the level of severity and the impact on general functioning.. I just hope it subsides for you soon to a tolerable level.

hang in there, we will win this battle.

Vitamins: Ferritin and vitamin D not yet in deficiency but at the very low limit, will start taking only iron+c and see how the body reacts.

Hi @Fullhealing

I am so sorry you are caught in this nightmare. And I hope you soon will get more and longer windows.

In this period where you are holding, I wouldn’t add anything, if it was me. You’r the one who knows best, and I am only speaking from my own experiences.

I don’t tolerate any form of vitamins, ion, Mg+ and all the rest. The same with a lot of different foods. I react promptly. I was in D-vit deficit, but managed to raise it through my diet.

Have you tried taking a periode without any vitamins and keep a strict diet? If so, did it make any difference?

Sending you a big hug and warm comforting thoughts. 🙏💕💕

Hi @Haa thank you for your kind words and I always appreciate reading more opinions and experiences from others 💞

I took vitamins/minerals that were well tolerated until I got halfway through and from there my body started to resist, now, I'm not sure if it was resistance to the supplements or a withdrawal reaction due to too large cuts and not enough time between reduction and or withdrawal itself regardless, the thing is that then the values were much higher and now I'm just before a deficiency which can mimic some of the symptoms I'm experiencing..

Add to that my digestion has been horrible especially in recent months even though I eat very healthily, almost everything I eat comes out as it goes in (tmi sorry) which can cause all the essential values not to be absorbed at all.. I'm now making efforts to have a colonoscopy/endoscopy earlier to be sure there's nothing else developing...

So even though im still hasitant, if these are really deficiency symptoms it could make significant improvement.

I think I'll go for it and start with a tiny dose just to taste the water.

@Fullhealing I know, we can’t say anything for sure. 🙄
For me the only thing that is obvious, is that my reactions to both food and vitamins and what not, are flaring up when in WD. Especially the mental symptoms. But also all the rest.

So I guess, I just wished, that this could be the case for you as well.

I so hope, that you soon will find a soft spot, from where you can restart some form of normality. xx

Update 18:00pm

Yesterday, still sharp stomach pains, crazy digestion and flare-ups but it got better towards the evening.

The night went horribly, although it seemed to be decreasing in frequency and getting quieter we were surprised with many alarms in the wee hours of the night which completely disrupted our sleep, however, strangely my mindset today was relatively fine and I managed to work for a few hours.

Physically fine as well, almost no flare-ups, digestion is also better except for tinnitus and allergies which is already the norm.

as for now my mind is still ok although it doesn't take much to push it to the edge.

So, let's see what the next second brings.

Appreciate that @Chippy thanks.

Luckily it's not constant, there are breaks from time to time from all fronts so im grateful for that at least.

What can I say, we just have to keep pushing, work on ourselves in the meantime and hope for the good to come.

Hey @Fullhealing

I just thought I’d stop by and say hello, I’ve just read your thread. I’m so sorry your struggling, it seems there is a little relief from time to time now though. Fingers crossed it continues to improve for you.

I read you’re still smoking, I wouldn’t worry about that for now, I puff a vape and in the early stages, the bloody thing was either in my hand or in my mouth,  I resembled a walking chimney pot! God knows what my neighbours would have thought if they saw me pacing the garden in the middle of the night with smoke billowing out of my head! I stopped for almost 2 months and it did me no favours, it seemed to exasperate some of my symptoms.  It’s something I’ve accepted now and I’ll address it when this is over!

I hope things ease for you soon, brighter days are coming!

March 2024

Mirtazapine 15mg x 4 doses. Adverse reaction.

3 day break.

March 2024

Sertraline 50mg x 7 doses. Adverse reaction.

August and September 2024.
Diazepam 5mg x 3 daily for 6 weeks. These doses varied from 15 to 5mg daily until the last week where I was tapered from 10mg to 0 in 6 days.

Zopiclone daily. I would say I was on 7.5mg for 3 weeks and 3.75mg for 4 weeks.

Hey @NBJ71 lovely to meet you, thanks for stopping by!

Walking chimney indeed.. seems I able to reduce for a while only to smoke twice as much after so yes better to just let it be, bigger battles to deal with atm..

thanks so much for the kind wishes for easier days, today isn't a good one but it will ease as it always does.

I hope your day is going well so far and I'll stop by your thread later to say hello as well.

Take care!

@Fullhealing sorry you're still feeling full on symptoms, most of us have all experienced our own version of what this means - terrifying and never ending. @Catbird relatively fair, a bit changing feelings/emotions but no serious body flairs so better than yesterday and nothing to complain about.

Thanks a lot for asking, hope you are doing too atm, it's all about that isn't it, and how to navigate in it.

Update 13 pm

The night of the 9-10th was quiet but I still didn't sleep well, vivid and disturbing dreams, very dry mouth, excessive sweating, and multiple awakenings.

last night was full of unpleasant surprises so we hardly slept here, it seems that one way or the other it doesn't really matter, the system is struggling with a complex reality so it is what it is and I'm trying my best to navigate it, however I do manage to make up for the lost hours when possible and that's good.

Yesterday throughout the day was tough, there were some small physical flare-ups but it was mainly focused on the mental, particularly depression, sense of loss, sadness, crying, well everything that comes with depression, not fun. I couldn't work.

Today or should I say atm, better.

Current symptoms:

Mild headaches including pressure, sore jaw, slightly tight muscles in the upper area but no burning, tinnitus, digestive issues as usual, nothing out of the ordinary, mind unclear, not terrible but not good either, grayish.. well, as long as it's not extreme it's good and I'm grateful for that.

We'll see what the next second brings.

Update 22:00pm

night with little to no sleep, not much external noises but a lot of internal.

Throughout the day I had to work to complete some stuff but with great difficulty, my brain was on maybe 20%, couldn't concentrate, lots of racing thoughts along with waves of irrational fears.

I had to do some outdoor errands and my orientation, which I consider very good, was totally switched off, I lost my way twice in well-known places and had a few episodes of complete disconnection/blackout as if I were in another, unfamiliar world.

Physically, almost no burning sensation although heart palpitations, head pressure, tinnitus and dizziness are still present.

It's all likely exacerbated by cumulative sleep deprivation.

On a positive note, digestion today was better, no stomach pain either.

This happened to me once during the beginning of this journey.  I was driving home and took same route to get home.  Suddenly, I lost time and lost where I was for few seconds.   Then, it came back....

You are doing fantastic.  I hear you and I'm with you.  When the brain can't function is hard to concentrate too.  I still have those symptoms but a lot less and when it comes back, it also leaves me.

Tinnitus is being on and off as well.  It was gone for a while.  Now, it's on and off and I mostly hear like crystals moving around...
