Heya just wanted to let you know I have good news ive noticed. Around 7 onward during the night I feel bassically normal. And since the anxiety and sleep issues began when I got back on the med I do think it's me readjusting to the med and it peaks during the day then finally calms later in the day. So I think it's the medicine rather than the withdrawl when It comes to my symptoms.

Yeah so on the bright side the symptoms im getting and I should of specified this and I apologize the sleep issues and the sweating and heart racing really bad and super anxiety (I like to call it) began when I restarted the med so most likely my body is just super senstive right now and as I relax my body will start to not have as such bad reaction. My sleep is stitching and I've notice my brain fog Is very slowly patching together. Also I miscalculated its day 23 on 20mg

Ok GREAT NEWS so my sleep is sticking more and today was GREAT almost ZERO BRAIN ZAPS and I didn't cry ONCE today and despite feeling anxiety no panic attack and my brain fog feels very small now and I feel much better the only thing i still have is the slight leg humming when I lay down (which started from the whole pregablin ct then reinstated thingy)

Very small muscle twitches in legs

And muscle tension pains in my left side like my neck and arm but when I massage it it goes away and my left leg joint still a lil stiff but mentally I felt great!

So only side effects today was

Do not measure your recovery by comparing one day to the next.  Recovery takes months or longer and happens in very small steps.  The fact is you're having windows and that show you can recover.  Also, do not let your mind play the "what if" game.  You may get new symptoms, but then again you may not.  I may get hit by a bolt of iteming but that won't stop me from going on.  Stay focused on the present and accepting and dealing with where you are now.

Im sorry you are not having as good a day today. It’s really common for this to happen. Some days are good and some days not. Best to try to not worry too much about the bad days and remember the better days. Those better days and the worse days are waves and windows and strong signals that your system is working hard for you to rebalance everything. This can take some time. Much longer than we would like.

Have a good look at the links we’ve linked you to. It’s worth starting to think about building up a coping skills toolbox to help on the not so good days.

 Chippy

I'm just scared about this taking years and I'm scared I slowlt become bed bound its hard to focus on coping skills cause I worry so much im dying or worse than death.

Heya I'm back I had a great day yesturday but today I'm just scared again espically with if I'll get that akasaia symptom I hear and still my body is all achy and my back of my neck is a lil sore and I'm just very scared about deteriorating cause I also could be floxxed from that cipro I took if you look at my timeline I'm sorry just a lil worried

sounds you aren't doing that bad if you had a great day.

Akathisia isn't something everybody gets, and isn't likely to happen if it didn't already.

Just because your body aches a bit, doesn't mean you will get akathisia, there are some health anxious people who think they will die just cause they have a headache, or stomaches, that's not reality.

I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. Please speak to your health practitioner about your care. This is a peer site where we support each other on our taper/recovery journeys.
Feel free to mention me whenever help is needed.

Current Supplements: Morning: Aloe Vera Gels. Night: 6mg melatonin and 133mg magnesium glycinate. Taking Omega 3 as needed to calm dyskinesia or over stimulation..

Current Medications: Mirtazapine, Lasea (lavender oil) before bed.

------------------------------------------

Tapering: Mirtazapine 15mg, (went compounded) 13.5mg 08/May/2025, 12.1mg 10/July/2025, 15/July/2025 15mg (half tablet), 26/July/2025 14.35mg (moved to dry cutting method) ), 03/Aug/2025 14.6mg, 24/Nov/2025 14.47mg, 29/Jan/2026 14.35mg

Note: Had a lot of issue with degradation with different cutting times and compounded pharmacy which caused withdrawals and a more sensitive nervous system.

You are catastrophizing. That's just anxiety.  You have to deal with the reality of your situation rationally and set aside all the fearful chatter in your head.
