  • Thanks bud. Ups and downs.    Slept ok. 5 hours straight then another choppy 1.5-2. Feel rested. Heads burning again.    Yesterday felt tired all day. No burning brain. There’s a pattern

I agree! Enjoy the summer-window! Can you go swimming? If I’m able to go, I can feel that it somehow does me good every time. I have read about people doing cold plunges for withdrawal symptoms. To me

Ive just checked and you are all set mate. Settings are all correct. Check your Junk mail box for the emails. Mails from the site often go in there. You can usually 'train' your email client to stop doing that.

Either click 'not junk' option for one of the emails.

Or start moving them into your inbox. Do this enough times it may train your computer we are not the enemy! 🤣

@Chippybrother, how are you lately my friend?

  • March 2017 - ADR to Prochlorperazine (Stemetil) treatment because of vertigo & vestibular dysfunction.

  • December 2017/January 2018 - started Sertraline (Zoloft) @ 25mg, then 50mg after 4 weeks.

  • March/April 2018 - went from 50 milligrams to 100mg, and stabilised.

  • 2021 - experienced tachyphylaxis (poop out) and went from 100mg to 200 mg. Was neurotoxic for 7 months before going back to 100mg next day.

  • May 2023 - prescribed Agomelatine & Omeprazole to go alongside Sertraline.

  • October 2023 - cold turkey off Agomelatine and Omeprazole, and cut SSRI from 100-50mg, withdrawal began 4 days later.

  • December 2023 - was cross tapered from Sertraline and onto Venlafaxine XR @ 37.5mg increased to 75mg 4 weeks later.

  • July 2024 - tapered off Venlafaxine XR 75mg over 4 weeks to completely heal from protracted withdrawal, been drug free since this period.

  • December 2024 - had a brutal setback from antibiotic + antiviral use. Took 4-5 months to recover to my "normal" baseline.

Spot on @Chippy They think their is nothing wrong with us. I rang wdp and it's been stopped.

Nothing to be done mate, I rang CAB but they couldn't really do anything, it's just worse if I have

to pay some back, dwp said I would get a letter but wouldn't confirm on that on the phone.

When I was telling my woes to woman at CAB, I was on about my hip and Tramadol, then the real

horror drug MIRT,  God she said I take that every so often for sleep, I soon filled her in what she needed

to know about that. Hey it is what it is, something will get sorted.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I was also refused all of it even while utterly disabled receiving full time care from my parents.

Makes me quite angry that I worked hard and paid a fortune into the system up until getting sick, and the state is who made me sick in the first place, and I get nothing, when others get plenty.

Still, as you say, that's that. The main thing is your health.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes.

Me as well @Luke The bloody doctors MAKE us sick, then DWP don't want to know. 47 years I paid

in and don't help when you really need it. Stinks. They have a sick note until 3rd of March as well!!!!!!

THAT'S the bit that bugs me. A genuine GP stating UNFIT for work, yet they can override it ?????

How would insurance cover that one at work??????

Hi guys, so yes on the DWP theme, I have googled this....IF you are signed off sick, it is going against all employers

rules and regs to go into work WHILE SIGNED OFF, could be instant dismissal. SO how do they work THAT one out?

So an example, I KEEP my sick note running, apply for JSA, then any jobs that are offered, I Show them the sick note?????

Sorry for the rant, I just don't like been disbelieved and taken for a malingerer🤬

So today is horrible and wet in the Lakes, But I am lifting a bit now, 3 maybe so that does help. Hells bells if this PWD

disappeared overnight for GOOD I would be back at work tomorrow, hell yes, money coming in  again, normality back

going to work would be a lifesaver, back in the land of the living, this is what authorities don't SEE, we are PRAYING for

our health back.....How absolutely utterly crazy that anyone could think we WANT to be like THIS🤬

They haven't a bloody clue.

Hi @Chippy I might just call in to CAB next Tuesday, question that about still being on sick. Or maybe

better, go to the doctor and explain the situation to them. BUT then again they don't like officially admitting

to a drug being at fault. They write out sick notes no problem so they know....so yes not sure yet mate.

So yes not just sure Chippy, I will work something out, but it's not going to be easy with the sick pay stopped,

now it wasn't much but it very much eased the situation. The very BEST result would be to MIRACULOUSLY

recover, NEW job NEW life. Now is that REALLY asking too much????           Pipe dreams mate.🤔

Tricky isnt it. You always do. Yes it might not have been a fortune but as you say it helps to keep you plodding along and not have to worry doesn't it. I think your ideas above are good. Worth pursuing perhaps.

Well stranger things have happened I am sure. Trouble is this is a difficult thing to recover from. Of course we WILL, just takes time. Next goal is to be at least sort of ok each day really isnt it. Gotta kick this MEGA wave! Its coming.

Yes @Chippy quick recovery is very much pipe dreams as you and I both know. Be lucky if I

am recovered by retirement March next year. Now if I do recover sooner and get a job, health

permitting I will work longer if it's a GOOD job.....but hey time will tell.🤞
