  • Thanks bud. Ups and downs.    Slept ok. 5 hours straight then another choppy 1.5-2. Feel rested. Heads burning again.    Yesterday felt tired all day. No burning brain. There’s a pattern

I agree! Enjoy the summer-window! Can you go swimming? If I’m able to go, I can feel that it somehow does me good every time. I have read about people doing cold plunges for withdrawal symptoms. To me

Hi @skamen No I think you have misread something there Svetla, It was I WISH I could miraculously recover

and get back to work. Still a pipe dream I am afraid. How are you keeping?  I sincerely hope you are starting to

feel a tiny bit better🙏 it hurts so much to watch you suffer so much from these EVIL drugs, and ignorant Doctors.

I am praying for you and wishing you the best Svetla. please stay strong and safe.

Take care,        B.🙏🙏🙏🙏🌷

Oh, sorry, dear B., indeed I misread... My witsh to return to work is so huge that when I see the word "work" my brain starts to hallucinate...

I was able to have a broken 5 hours sleep interrupted by cortisol spikes and hot flashes. Living hell. The anxiety and the hellish anhedonia kill me. Let's stay connected, @NT1100B to be able to survive.

Morning bud

yeah a bit of traffic here now isn’t there!

Erm ok I guess. Same sleep 5.5 hours straight the through. Pattern continues. Did get a nice chunk maybe 20/30 mins extra after maybe even some other bits. Hard to tell. So signs the rest of the sleep trying to happen. Be nice wouldn’t it. Feel ok today apart from the burning brain. It’s back this morning. 🫣

Yesterday a really decent day. 8/10 all day. Honestly maybe a 9 at points. So really good.

Slowly slowing slowly getting there perhaps.

What the hell 7.5 , I am so

happy for you Mr B 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

On Paxil since 1995. Seroquel added 2014 after withdrawal crash. History of too-fast tapers/reinstatements.

21 April 2025 taper two drugs at once

Paxil 4% Seroquel 3.5% per month

that ended up being too much and changed to one drug at a time

13 Jul 2025: 4% Paxil cut

29 Jul 2025: 5% Paxil cut

6 Aug 2025: began hold

Oct 2025: changed from liquid to powder and accidentally took 10x Seroquel dose for 2 weeks by mistake

23 Oct 2025: returned to liquid with accidental 4.7% Seroquel cut

 Holding both drugs to stablize

Holding at Paxil 8.25 mg / Seroquel 6.5

Paxil taper

22/4 8.23  29/4 8.20  5/5 8.15 13/5 8.05  3/6 8 11/6 7.95 18/7 7.5

Hey @Chippy

Just dropped by your thread to check out how you have been doing of late - thrilled to see you have made some fab progress 🙌🏻. Long may the 9s last!

I hope that sleep begins to normalise a bit more for you soon. Have you managed to work through WD? I’m assuming with the name Chippy and the profile pic you are a carpenter? I can’t imagine physical work would be easy in WD.

Wishing you well, G 🌈🪟

Hey G

Thanks for stopping by. You’re always welcome 😀

Appreciate that some days it feels like progress other days not so much.

Yeah Carpentry is one hat. Not done any of that professionally since wd. I’m lucky I have a bunch of string to my bow and can continue those things from home. I’m very fortunate in that way.

Morning mate

Im not too bad this morning. Don’t think I’m as good as I was a couple of days ago.

Slept good. 6 hours bang straight through. Nothing after. Typical this now. Good but would love some more. I’ll get it eventually.

Horrible day yesterday. Brain burnt all day. Absolutely horrendous!!! It will improve in time I’m sure but whilst it’s happening it’s really hard to deal with. Again. Time.

Cheers for asking after me as ever my good friend.

1998 forced on cipramil *no anxiety/depression background*

Over the years all kinds of SSRI/SNRI/antipsychotics/stabilizers due to apparently side effects/withdrawal

Many attempts to quit over the years with failure (extremely rapid taper followed by doctors' guidens)

Current attempt-Paxil 20 mg:

6/24 20 mg to 5 mg-severe AKA

9/24 Increase to 20-AKA continues

10/24 stopped completely-AKA out of control

11/24 Zoloft bridge attempt-25 mg to 75 mg+Seroquel-AKA continued-stopped them CT.

12/24 Back on Paxil 10mg (0.1789g)-some stabilization-from here tapered by about 30% each time (don't remember doses and dates).

2025 - 7.10 0.0558g (3.11mg)/7.11 3% 0.0541g (3.02mg)/4.12 1% 0.0535g (2.98mg)

2026 - 3.1 1.5% 0.0526g (2.93mg)/9.1 8.5% 0.0480g (2.68mg)/16.2 1.8% 0.0470g (2.62mg)/21.3 1% 0.466 (2.60mg)/23.4 2.2% 0.455g (2.54mg)/8.7 21.7% 0.0356.5g (2mg)/15.8 updose by 11.7% 0.0400g (2.23mg)

Supplements:

Magnesium Glycinate - started 28.5.26 1 capsule 200mg in the morning - Increased brain fog and muscle stiffness - stopped after two weeks.

Iron - liquid, quarter of recommended dose - increased anxiety and burning sensation - stopped after two weeks.

Saffron - started 8.7.26 1 capsule 30mg in the morning - pretty immediate improvement in terms of terror, body pain and sleep.

Sorry to hear about the burning brain, seems like you’re getting there though @Chippy with some really good days in the mix which must really help you keep the faith.

Glad today is a bit easier x

3 weeks Paxil around 2002 I think can’t really remember. CT no issues except for a few head zaps.

1 day Citalopram Dec 2017

10/07/25 - Mirtazapine 7.5mg

19/07 - 15mg, 01/08 7.5mg, 15/08 dissolving orodispersible tablets for easier measuring 6mg, 22/08 5mg, 04/09 4mg, 18/09 3mg, 02/10 2.5mg, 16/10 2mg, 30/10 1.5mg, 13/11 1.2mg taper paused due to WD symptoms, had a window 17th March continuous improvement until early June when I went back into a moderate but manageable wave after overdoing things until early July when taking omeprazole for gastritis pushed me into another bad wave. Still waiting to stabilise before proceeding with taper.

Supplements - 100mg magnesium glycinate daily.

Other meds - Omeprazole 20mg a day when gastritis flares - realised after taking this for 8 days end of June ‘26 I was experiencing some WD symptoms again and researched to find PPIs block the liver enzymes used to metabolise a lot of antidepressants artificially raising blood levels. Stopped omeprazole and 2 weeks later back into a bad wave as my body has reacted as if I’ve updosed and then dropped again.

Post menopausal GP has prescribed HRT but have not started as don’t want to confuse my system while tapering.
