They're all seeing patients back to back all day. What little free time they have is taken up by drug salespeople telling them this or that pill will solve their patients' problems in a week (and get them out the door within that 20 minutes). Unless they're willing to do research on their own time, very few know about WD, except from patients they write off as hypersensitive. I was blessed to find a therapist who accepted the reality of WD and gave me the tools to get through it. August 20Aug 20 Author Thank you friends @SarahMc @mstimc60 @Raymond ๐คYes, unfortunately back to suffocating deep dives, I had relative peace for two days after increasing the dose, then a painful crush, in general, the quality of sleep has improved in that there are almost no horrific SI hallucinations and nightmares, I do have still very vivid dreams but the content is quite fascinating which makes me want to pass the time by just sleeping, not the best but in relation to others who suffer so much from lack of sleep I have nothing to complain, grateful for every small improvement.Took me long enough to realize that under 5mg it's brutal let alone my dose so I need to be very, very careful both with reduction and with new experiences, I'm done playing with fire, I'm resting, probably going to be a long one but I'm ok with that, no rush. August 22Aug 22 Author Update 22.08.26 11:00amSince increasing the dose by about half of the last cut sleep continues to be free of horrific hallucinations and nightmares, although still saturated with slightly bizarre dreams they are quite interesting, some are even enjoyable so it's okay, sleeping hours are all mixed up but I manage to sleep between 7-9 hours in total which is excellent.Still in full survival mode, I haven't returned to work yet but I managed to find a replacement for the next two to three months when I help out occasionally via remote control, it takes a huge burden off of me for now, I hope that during this time I will be able to reorganize but I try not to dig too deep into this or anything else and give the system as much peace as possible to heal.Today I woke up relatively fine, without skyrocketing cortisol and abysmal fear, thoughts do continue to race but so far they are relatively controllable.Allergies/histamine also subsided significantly, it seems that the sharp cut gave a crazy kick that reached an unbearable level. In terms of other symptoms such as poor digestion, loud tinnitus, jittery nerves, same old same.Yesterday I started a super low dose multivitamin (designed for children, didn't find very low values otherwise) and although I mentioned that I would put it aside for now I really have no choice, ferritin continued to drop and reached 10 as well as b12 and vitamin d in the very low values, my body is as dry as the desert, my hair is falling out in huge pieces and I am extra exhausted from doing practically nothing so these must be contributing, so only one day but so far no bad reaction unlike previous attempts which were terrible pretty much immediately, again, super low dose, I don't know how much it will fill the deficiency but it's better than nothing. That's it for now, we'll see how things move as I try to adjust myself accordingly. 1998 forced on cipramil *no anxiety/depression background*Over the years all kinds of SSRI/SNRI/antipsychotics/stabilizers due to apparently side effects/withdrawalMany attempts to quit over the years with failure (extremely rapid taper followed by doctors' guidens)Current attempt-Paxil 20 mg:6/24 20 mg to 5 mg-severe AKA9/24 Increase to 20-AKA continues10/24 stopped completely-AKA out of controlย 11/24 Zoloft bridge attempt-25 mg to 75 mg+Seroquel-AKA continued-stopped them CT.12/24 Back on Paxil 10mg (0.1789g)-some stabilization-from here tapered by about 30% each time (don't remember doses and dates).2025 - 7.10 0.0558g (3.11mg)/7.11 3% 0.0541g (3.02mg)/4.12 1% 0.0535g (2.98mg)2026 - 3.1 1.5% 0.0526g (2.93mg)/9.1 8.5% 0.0480g (2.68mg)/16.2 1.8% 0.0470gย (2.62mg)/21.3 1% 0.466 (2.60mg)/23.4 2.2% 0.455g (2.54mg)/8.7 21.7% 0.0356.5g (2mg)/15.8 updose by 11.7% 0.0400g (2.23mg)Supplements:Magnesium Glycinate - started 28.5.26 1 capsule 200mg in the morning - Increased brain fog and muscle stiffness - stopped after two weeks.Iron - liquid, quarter of recommended dose - increased anxiety and burning sensation - stopped after two weeks.Saffron - started 8.7.26 1 capsule 30mg in the morning - pretty immediate improvement in terms of terror, body pain and sleep.
August 22Aug 22 @Fullhealing that sounds like a pretty positive update to me. I am pleased, I hope from here things start to improve for you. Nice long hold. Good idea I think. I would be careful about supplements, without banging that drum too hard, add a bunch of foods that contain the missing elements to your diet much better for the brain. xxxx Iโm not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. August 24Aug 24 Author Update 24.98.26 11:40amIt only took two days for the system to flare up even more from the kid's multivitamin at almost zero dosage.. no clue how I will fill the deficiency effectively as it is simply impossible only through nutrition, big problem. My sleep in the last two days has become horrific again with very vivid nightmares that leave a terrible taste throughout the day, yesterday and after a few good days of relief, again a sleep hallucination when trying to rest, seems that the system can't shake the extreme fight or flight mode, I stopped taking short evening walks since it is impossible to escape people on the way which irritates, everything in general turns me on, I can't stand even weak noises, the tinnitus is very loud including eye tics, crazy digestion and the racing thoughts, oh my, catastrophe BUT I have to remind myself that it all makes sense in light of the recent dramatic changes, I just need to wait, wait, and more wait and muster a ton of patience which is not really going well so far so good luck with that.

August 24Aug 24 Relate to everything you write @Fullhealing . It really is something one has to experience to understand. The extreme flight/fight mode is so intense and all consuming. I find the same re getting enough from food alone. I would need to eat organic and more variety to get enough. I was vegan but brought fish in. I would prefer vegan but can't quite do it at the moment. Avoiding people is a hard one and you would miss your evening walk. I hope you settle again soon which you will.
