I would love some encouragement from someone who has had a really sensitized system from too many changes who got better

Is there anyone on this forum who was super sensitized?

Hi @Finni, I found this forum today and had to create an account right away. I'm on Mirt for about 4 month and (apart from many other weird symptoms) last two months or so, I feel like walking on a trampoline whenever I walk, when sitting I have to move my head as little as possible in order to feel stable, and when lying in bed I feel like my mattress is a boat. Is that close to what you feel?

Yesterday was milder with capacity to communicate more

No huge overwhelming akasthisia even though pressurized, motorized, and off balance

Withdrawal symptoms worse in evening.

I hate that change since evening used to be better

very emotional and hopeless late evening

9:15 pm: 14.79 mg mirt

Sleepy within 20 minutes or so with pressurized, restless feeling underneath

Woke several times in the middle of the night with horrible, horrible head pressure and feeling sick. Very off balance when walked to bathroom. Lost control of bladder on way to bathroom.

5:20 am my head is so pressurized, painful and my tailbone feels spongy and bouncy

Electricity dancing in my stomach

Feels like there needs to be some sort of pressure release valve in my nervous system. I’m scared and very disappointed.

@Finni I'm so sorry you are suffering like this. Its all beyond words . It's very scary ,I get that no one should have to suffer like this. Do you ever take anything for the head pressure as in paracetamol?....I hope this doesn't last long for you and you get some relief 🙏❤️

I have taken Tylenol (same thing as paracetamol in US) once in the last several weeks, but I mostly use a headache hat (iced gel that fits like a hat)

@Finni Its horrendous I know but I'm thinking along the lines of @Chippy lots of symptons =lots of healing . Ok I've had the muscle tension but after yesterday I didn't expect to feel as good as i do now . Hang in there, you will get a break ,it won't last forever . 🙏

The ups and downs of this process are torture I know! Head pressure is a big issue with Mirtazapine. It’s terrible I know it too well.

Don’t be scared. Trust the process. Time. I know. Oh so much time, but I can see things changing for you. Ebbing and flowing. Just your brain doing its good work.

@Chippy did you have head pressure on mirtazapine while you were still on it or did it just start when you came off?

I didn’t really have many symptoms from mirtazapine at 15 mg until that 15 mg was adjusted up and town

Mine all started from memory when I stopped it. I don’t recall if I had it on it. It feels like a such a long time ago I don’t remember exactly. It was easier this morning but it’s ramping back up again. I get it a lot.

I’m really looking forward to the day you stabilise and can taper off this awful drug.

Wow, it feels like I’ve been cold turkey off of something. My head is squeezing and bouncing horrible alarm bells going off.

Feels like I’m falling through the floor when I walk.

I’m so afraid I’ve been damaged beyond Repair

I wish I could go back and do things so differently

I wish I could just up dose and be OK such a horrible hopeless place to be

Surely this will pass and I’ll eventually be OK or at least not in this 10 out of 10 distress

I need to really watch myself and stay away from scary things. I went on this forum and saw something about Jordan Peterson and then my system really got turned up.

I’m afraid I’m just as injured

@Finni So sorry to hear you are also having an horrendous day . We know that's what it is a bad day it doesn't determine what our life will be like it's just a moment in time ,which will disappear to be replaced by another moment .Nothing is permanent this will pass and you will come out of this stronger I promise you . Yesterday I was the same I couldn't look at anything negative as it really triggered me ...don't feel like it today . You will get there ❤️

I’m so glad you’re having a better day today.❤️This is really something with the intense intense physical symptoms like I’ve been cold turkeyed. Blown away.

And then all the emotional stuff is over the top, too.

I just tried a shower alternating warm and cool water and it helped a little bit.

I had a nice small window. I guess a dirty window, but it was wonderful to get outside on the golf cart and to talk to some neighbors and to help my cousin move some limbs into a big pile.

It was a beautiful sunny, cool day here in Oklahoma
