Finni , how is your Mom doing, better I hope. I don't think you set yourself back, it's probably just you system getting used to the drop. You are doing amazing, and are so strong, just hold for a few bumps here and there, you got this.😊

I have to learn the hardest lessons during this most hideous journey

I took off such a very small amount three nights ago that I didn’t think it would be any big deal just to go back to where I was because my body reacted so violently to that very small change

Unfortunately, now the adverse effects seem to be more adverse

I keep doing these things because it’s so hard for me to imagine that these tiny changes are creating such a huge effect

I had so much electricity in my body after I reduced a little bit with really severe body responses like muscles are getting super tight vocalizing from all the overwhelm, akasthisia.

After I took my usual dose again, two nights ago, I hardly slept because I was so activated and shaking like it didn’t even more of a number on me

I ended up going to an emergency room and then to a crisis center, just because I was so scared

Now I’ve had two doses of my usual .1026 g and of course I regret it now I wish I would’ve just stayed at .1024 g but at the time that withdrawal reaction was so strong that I just went right back up

I thought I might not even feel that little tiny drop to 1.024 g

The floatiness, dizziness and aka is worse than it’s been in a long, long time

What in the hell do I do now now that it’s even worse?

I think I downplayed what was going on with my mom and how that stressed out my nervous system even more and it was not the time to try to reduce no matter how small or micro I thought it was

I’m so scared. I don’t know what to do. I feel like I have heat all over my body and my blood pressure is much higher than normal.

It was high in the emergency room and it was high at the crisis center too

My blood pressure has been running on the low side, but now it is in the moderate range

I i’m so sorry for your suffering. I think that stressful events in life produce a much stronger reaction during withdrawal than if we were in a normal situation. Maybe it was not the reduction, but just the stress you are experiencing right now. Now it’s not the time to worry about whether the reduction was too big, you better concentrate on calming down and on acceptance. You will probably be able to reduce your dose when you are not stressed out by life so much.

Sorry to hear you’ve reacted so badly to a micro reduction @Finni . I’m in a similar position. I’ve been on the same dose foe 3 months and my body reacts when I try to drop by 2 micrograms . I’m just going to leave things be for another 2 months. I feel like there’s some invisible force twisting all the muscles in my abdomen. It’s incapacitating 😢

@Finni just catching up with your thread. So you tried a small reduction for a few days and it did not go well so you updosed back up again?

Sounds like this is the eviedence you need that holding your dose is the right move, but I agree additional stress can make things worse too so this may well have been part of how you are feeling too.

Yes- I thought surely a tiny reduction wouldn’t do much…, an amount not even perceptible on most scales.

When my body reacted so violently, I just went back the next night

Now I’m having to go through horrible painful pounding twisting electricity and pressure in a new level

Totally flabbergasted and terrified

The place where I’d gotten was so much better than this! I didn’t realize how far I had come, but if I would’ve stopped to really look at my ratings every day, I would’ve seen that. But what I saw was “oh I think I’m better enough to take this teeny teeny tiny bit off.”

When I’m convinced I’m having paradoxical and adverse reactions, It’s so hard to do nothing.

@Finni LDN has worked over the years for me, but not recently for the abdominal myofascial pain that has been plagued me more recently. CBD does nothing noticeable for me.

The day before I tried the tiny drop I felt so sick and out of it, and that prompted me to go ahead, not realizing the violent reaction that was coming.

This morning after a violent withdrawal day, I feel very sick, have huge vestibular symptoms, and can feel the aka motor revving up. Intensely nervous and weird.

I think the next thing for me to do is to split my dose since it’s so activating and I feel it so acutely as it’s wearing off in the afternoon and evening.

The question is how far past this last disruption do I need to wait before I try?

I know I’ve asked this question before, but I feel like I’m even more sensitized now.

Another thing- One time Mark said I should take 1 mg earlier and earlier and another time said I could take 3 mg earlier and earlier.

I wonder why the difference?

You know my feelings on changes, sometimes they are needed but often I think they become excuses to try to 'fix'

I think he was just suggesting taking a % of your dose and splitting it. Perhaps he changed his 'rule of thumb' between talking to you. It is all guess work. So little research.
