hi guys im back again tried to play stardew valley and again im painfully aware of existence and im so detached from self and reality even more then this morning, when does it stop getting worse and just stay the same for once :(

Slowly in time ,it's a process @caitlinnathanie great that you keep trying distraction, it won't always work but when it does, it's worth the effort and it will grow.

Hang in there, your thoughts feel threatening but nothing is actually happen, you're safe, I can assure you that the intensity will decrease, keep surviving this, it will get much better. xxx

Over the years all kinds of SSRI/SNRI/antipsychotics/stabilizers due to apparently side effects/withdrawal

It is best to not look at stories and try to compare yourself. You are not anyone else, your circumstances are different to everyone else. It is so important to just focus on yourself and take one day at a time. Don’t worry about what happens tomorrow, just get into the rhythm of today. Only today. It is all that matters.

There's a difference between feeling unsafe and being unsafe. As @Fullhealing just said, nothing physically dangerous is happening to you. Your anxious mind is telling you something is wrong so your body is reacting. Using distraction to redirect your thoughts will allow your body to get out of the anxiety loop. I know how dreadful the feeling is, but giving yourself some time, using distraction, and practicing acceptance and self-forgiveness will work.

You can handle a lot more than you think, believe me @caitlinnathanie

And stories, for every bad there's good but your mind will obviously wander to the most horrific, irrelevant anyway, you are in your own story and you are coping great, just keep going and it will get better.

@caitlinnathanie you are doing your best. Sometimes the coping skills don’t help when this acute. You won’t be this bad always. It’s so good you have the support of your family around you. It’s really important your family try to understand what has happened to you. They will want to protect and support you. This is natural, they need to understand that the additional drugs are not your friend. Sounds terrible I know. They just need to be there for you and stay strong for you.

This is a big problem that many face @caitlinnathanie I guess they have any clue about this process and so despite their good intentions they speak out of ignorance.

Try sharing content with them from here, SA, YouTube, there are many like Angie Peacock, Joanna, Melissa, etc.

This is an excellent video by Melissa that can give you an idea of what happening as well as unrealistic expectations, dealing with pain ect:

You need to calm your body and mind. Take in a breath through your nose for five seconds and then breathe out through your mouth for five seconds. Repeat an affirming mantra like "I am safe" while you're doing it. If you can find some mind-calming music on YouTube or elsewhere, play it softly in the background. Let yourself slow down instead of identifying with the racing thoughts.

December bupropion 1 week

January started Fluoxetine 3-4 weeks. 2 weeks 10 mg then started to get dpdr and panic attacks, they gave me 20 mg for another week i think and then i got really bad panic attacks and dpdr and then 3 days 10 mg and then i needed to quit.

Oxazepam 3 days for adrenaline

quetiapine 1 day - made me feel bad so i only took it once.

lorazepam 1 day - got panic bc of the feeling of sedating

Stopped everything 2 months ago, now i have severe dpdr because i was so scared, had a week long panic attacks the whole day every day crying that im gonna die because of feeling of adrenaline and dpdr and I felt really bad. Went to the er a lot of times, healthy. Now I can not get out of bed because of severe dpdr, can not recognize myself at all and im every day more scared.

they say they only listen to the doctor who studied for it and not video's or like experienced people without a degree.

This is what they tell me,

Right now i can not feel anything anymore, im completely out of reality and body and im losing myself. I genuinely can NOT handle it anymore even if someone is here psychically with me it is unbearable im losing myself!

I know. It is reasonable to trust these people on principle, but the reality is, they simply don’t know enough. I say that with great confidence, as someone who felt the same as your parents before I got injured. It opens your eyes to the reality. You should maybe let them know in the uk the harms of these medications are being properly understood. Perhaps show them Mark Horowitzs videos. He is a doctor, works in the NHS in the uk, and he gets it, he’s been through this himself.

Thinking of you. Remember you are actually doing incredibly, in what is very trying times. You can and will get through this!

If you are from the UK please make sure you fill in a 'Yellow Card' report for the MHRA. It is you doing your bit to help make a difference.

Please take the time to do it today 🙂 https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk
