January 31Jan 31 Hey B, I saw a post from you on SA right before Christmas. I got caught up with notifications there today. I have been more involved here for about a little over a month. Plus at that prior time, I had all of that hormonal stuff going on—very low energy, unlike me. Today, I posted back to you on SA, and am so glad we are connected here on AR. Just wanted you to know about it before the SA site closes out tomorrow. I’m happy for you to be getting somethings sorted out and that you seem to be doing a bit better. February 1Feb 1 Hello B! So good to see you! I was super sad to check SA for the last time tonight. Really heartbreaking after getting to know folks these past few months. Alas, here we are! I'll be keeping an eye on you. ☺️🌻 Sept 1993 Began paroxetine 20 mg for anxiety and depression- worked like a charm. 1st taper - Aug 1995 tapered over 3 weeks before getting pregnant- great at first, crashed at one month. White knuckled it through 2 miscarriages. Spring 1996 (?) Reinstated paroxetine 20 mg. 2nd taper- Spring 2008 tapered off paroxetine over 4 months. Summer 2008 crashed horribly, nearly incapacitated by WD; Summer 2008-Summer 2009 tried 4 different ADs, none as effective as paroxetine. Summer 2009 Reinstated 20 mg paroxetine, not as effective as previously. 3rd taper- Jun 19, 2019 began 10 mg paroxetine, 10 mg fluoxetine for one week. Jun 26 20 mg fluoxetine, 5 mg paroxetine for one week. Jul 3- 20 mg fluoxetine + lorazepam (0.5 mg) as needed up to 2x/day. Aug 12- 30 mg fluox; Sept 3- .5 mg clonazepam daily; end lorazepam; Sept 5- 40 mg fluox; End of 2019- returned to paroxetine 20 mg/day most of the year, 30mg/day in the winter. BEGIN 4th TAPER ATTEMPT: Jul 13 2025- 30 -> 25 mg; 10 Sept -> 22.5mg; 3 Oct -> 20 mg; 10 Oct -> hold 2 weeks; 2 Nov -> 19.5 mg; 9 Nov -> 19 mg; 16 Nov -> hold 1 week; 22 Nov -> 18.6 mg; 30 Nov -> 18.2 mg; 7 Dec -> hold 1 week; 14 Dec -> 17.8 mg; 21 Dec -> 17.5 mg; 28 Dec -> 17.1 mg; 4 Jan 2026 -> 16.7 mg -> hold 2 weeks ; 28 Jan -> 16.4 mg; 1 Feb -> 16.0 mg; 8 Feb -> 15.7 mg; 15 Feb -> hold 2 weeks; 1 Mar -> 15.5 mg; 8 Mar -> 15.2 mg; 15 Mar -> hold; 5 Apr -> 14.9. February 1Feb 1 Author Morning all, just said goodbye to SA which is very sad. I spent, a recon up.....over 2000 hours on there. A long time. But thanks to Luke & Chippy, here we are at the brilliant AR. Life moves on, nothing stays the same, and hopefully we are moving and healing with it. So a bit damp on my 4.30am walk this morning. 4 hours broken sleep and on a 2. So not horrific, but not good either. I have a long long way to go before I see any improvement. So yesterday I got my food shop done OK and gradually lifted to a 4 after mid-day. Not good, but not too bad either, I don't seem to be having any BIG lifts anymore. All part of PWD I suppose, it's all just guesswork, as we are all different and healing is so slow and irregular. But time keeps moving, the day weeks and months pass by, February ALREADY and being a short month always goes fast. So yes that's the irritating thing with PWD it just doesn't seem to change. So it's onwards we will plod. February 1Feb 1 Hey B Yes a bit like first day of a new school isnt it. I was over on SA at the last moment. It was weird, one minute I could post, next minute I couldn't. No fireworks just quietly went offline. You can barely tell. Glad to see a trend here. 4 in the afternoon 2 in the mornings. Seems roughly you've been doing a tiny bit better recently. Got it crossed things are taking a turn in the right direction. Heaven knows its about time right! Hope you improve throughout the day again. February 1Feb 1 Author Hi again folks, well I have lifted to a 5 today strangely, I didn't think I would early this morning, so there you go. Now I have been down memory lane today reading my own thread on SA. Interesting, I got reminded about the yellow card, SO I went ahead on a GOV website and filled one in, saying MIRT had destroyed my life. Down in black and white now, with my name and address on it so I am down for the counting. So yes I am up to July, and between 4-7 so I was doing better then than I am now. I was more cheerful then as well. What has it done to me????? So yes but today has been the best day in months, WILL this last?.....I don't know. I certainly would hope it's more than one day, BUT it's always the dreaded sleep reset. Oh well I can live in hope, I have been in a wave for over 70 days, so I might have a slim chance of getting a bit more good 🤞So it's the car recall on Wednesday, I would be happy if I was just good on that one day, that would do me for now. So I will see what happens tonight and just keep gently plodding on. February 2Feb 2 Author Morning all, so here I am again typing at 2am, awake on a 1 at 1am after 4 hours broken sleep. Sleep reset in action yet again. It goes on and on and on. I was hoping after lifting yesterday that I might be lifted out of the 70 day wave, but again it's just been a short respite. This means finding a new job is still no longer possible yet. This is wearing one down the longer it goes on, normality is what we are striving for, and it just seems impossible. Now I know this is wave thinking because my outlook yesterday was stronger. Nausea back today, Tinnitus loud, bowl movements still very irregular, twice already from midnight, it's just insanity. Never in my life have I experienced anything as horrific and long lasting as this horrible nightmare. This tests a person to the very limit. Survival is all it is, the brief spells like yesterday are good, but knowing it's almost like an illusion and won't last, becomes more obvious every time we are knocked down again. Is it a pointless battle? The wave mind does view it as pointless, with no chance of escape, I really do hope I lift again because at the moment I am very flat and negative, no sign of escape. Reading my SA thread yesterday, July last year I was in a better state than I am now, THAT doesn't look good. Hey mate Damn reset again. Sorry B. It’s all just part of it isn’t it. Nothing we can do. I’ve found this too that it keeps doing the sane thing over and over. But eventually as it heals it changes. Still lots of healing to do here but yes it will change for you over Time…. As we know. Time is the healer. 2 hours ago, NT1100B said: the brief spells like yesterday are good, but knowing it's almost like an illusion and won't last, becomes more obvious every time we are knocked down again. We see BIG waves a year out you are not the only one. Your system knows how to heal and is working very hard to do this for you. You will get there even though it doesn’t feel like it! Chippy I’m not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. I only offer my thoughts as support. Please speak to your health practitioner about your care. This is a peer site where we support each other on our taper/recovery journeys. If you are from the UK please make sure you fill in a 'Yellow Card' report for the MHRA. It is you doing your bit to help make a difference. Please take the time to do it today 🙂 https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.ukFor US members details here.

Typical with the car recall coming up, it's like sods law to be in poor condition for that. The tediousness of this healing, up slightly then knocked back, really does get to us. Reading my thread yesterday up to July I was a lot more positive, and regular 6-7, yes on 3s as well but nothing as bad as this. Oh well lets see what S**t gets thrown up today. Take care, B. 2001-2021 Prozac 20mg 2020-2021 Tramadol 300mg 2022 April 15th Started Mirtazapine 15mg 2022 Sept 15 dropped to 7.5mg 2023 May 16th failed CT reinstated. 2023 June 30th tapering off 2025 Jan 7th Stopped all drugs.
February 2Feb 2 Author So yes, back off my walk, going back to bed was a waste of time, I didn't sleep or get settled none. So I am now on a 0, and feeling totally crap, the statistics show I am getting worse. Yesterday was a reasonable lift but not like the lifts last year. I cannot remember when I was last on the Motorbike, months ago I just have motivation for nothing. I am just an empty shell. No way to live whatsoever, just a continuous nightmare. Take care all, B. 2001-2021 Prozac 20mg 2020-2021 Tramadol 300mg 2022 April 15th Started Mirtazapine 15mg 2022 Sept 15 dropped to 7.5mg 2023 May 16th failed CT reinstated. 2023 June 30th tapering off 2025 Jan 7th Stopped all drugs.
