Featured Replies

It is great that you can lifted to 4, dear @NT1100B. It is a proof that the healing is happening.

My living Hell continues, this morning my body is plugged into the electrical system... I started yesterday my month 12 of Terror after CT upon doctor advice...

Svetla

2011-2023 Paxil

2023-2024 Effexor

Since February 2024 in anhedonia caused by the long use of AD

February 2024-March 2025 drug after drug after drug... 70 rTMS sessions, 8 ketamin infusions-nothing worked

March 2025 CT upon doctor "advice" from Desipramine, Viibryd, Lithium at high doses all together in 6 days

Since then awful withdrawal: unbearable anxiety, panic attacks, adrenaline rushes, hot flashes, muscle pain over all the body, insomnia, depression, intrusive thoughts, brain fog

Current tapering Mirtazapine : December 29,2025-3 mg, February,15, 2025-2,7 mg, February,28-2,5 mg, March,8-2 mg, March,14-1,5 mg, March,20-0 mg

Hi @skamen I am very sorry to hear of the constant living hell you are in Sveyla, all I can say is keep holding.

I wish with all my heart there was a way to speed healing up. But there jus isn't. Time is the only healer, so it's

a very hard path we have to follow, I am praying you get a break with a window, which will then prove to yourself

that you are healing. This WILL happen in more time as you hold. Continue taking it slow and easy.

Take care and please stay safe,         B.🙏🙏🙏🌷

Hi all, well after breakfast put a downer on me this morning, back to a 0, I gradually lifted again after about

2.5 hours, lifting to a 4 then back down to a 3 this afternoon. So better than after breakfast but not brilliant.

So the car is in for a recall tomorrow first thing, so obviously that's on my mind now. But that's just wave

mind thinking. Without any of this PWD it would just be no problem. So it will be what it will be.

Take care all,          B.🤞

Hi, NT1100B,

Thanks for checking in on my thread. I feel for you a lot. The terror.  The terror.  There it is, and no amount of rationalization will make that time when the terror is present ok. At one year off — that was a horrifying time for me.  Hang in there.  Hold on for dear life.   Keep trusting all the hundreds of people who tell you that you will heal. You will make it.

Anti-histamine Withdrawal Video-Explains a lot (This is not me.)

B, I'm thinking your rise to a 4 on these recent days indicates a slow but real improvement in your withdrawal journey. This really makes me happy! It's so gratifying to see improvement in someone who has suffered so much and has encouraged so many folks, me included. Keep it up - you're getting there and I couldn't be happier! 🌻♥️

Sept 1993 Began paroxetine 20 mg for anxiety and depression- worked like a charm.

1st taper - Aug 1995 tapered over 3 weeks before getting pregnant- great at first, crashed at one month. White knuckled it through 2 miscarriages. Spring 1996 (?) Reinstated paroxetine 20 mg.

2nd taper- Spring 2008 tapered off paroxetine over 4 months. Summer 2008 crashed horribly, nearly incapacitated by WD; Summer 2008-Summer 2009 tried 4 different ADs, none as effective as paroxetine.  Summer 2009 Reinstated 20 mg paroxetine, not as effective as previously.

3rd taper- Jun 19, 2019 began 10 mg paroxetine, 10 mg fluoxetine for one week. Jun 26 20 mg fluoxetine, 5 mg paroxetine for one week. Jul 3- 20 mg fluoxetine + lorazepam (0.5 mg) as needed up to 2x/day. Aug 12- 30 mg fluox; Sept 3- .5 mg clonazepam daily; end lorazepam; Sept 5- 40 mg fluox;

End of 2019- returned to paroxetine 20 mg/day most of the year, 30mg/day in the winter.

BEGIN 4th TAPER ATTEMPT: Jul 13 2025- 30 -> 25 mg; 10 Sept -> 22.5mg;  3 Oct -> 20 mg; 10 Oct -> hold 2 weeks; 2 Nov -> 19.5 mg; 9 Nov -> 19 mg; 16 Nov -> hold 1 week; 22 Nov -> 18.6 mg; 30 Nov -> 18.2 mg; 7 Dec -> hold 1 week; 14 Dec -> 17.8 mg; 21 Dec -> 17.5 mg; 28 Dec -> 17.1 mg; 4 Jan 2026 -> 16.7 mg -> hold 2 weeks ; 28 Jan -> 16.4 mg; 1 Feb -> 16.0 mg; 8 Feb -> 15.7 mg; 15 Feb -> hold 2 weeks; 1 Mar -> 15.5 mg; 8 Mar -> 15.2 mg; 15 Mar -> hold; 5 Apr -> 14.9.

I just moved over to this site. I think it's fantastic @Chippy @Luke have done an amazing job .
Sending hugs your way xx

On Paxil since 1995. Seroquel added 2014 after withdrawal crash. History of too-fast tapers/reinstatements.

21 April 2025 taper two drugs at once

Paxil 4% Seroquel 3.5% per month

that ended up being too much and changed to one drug at a time

13 Jul 2025: 4% Paxil cut

29 Jul 2025: 5% Paxil cut

6 Aug 2025: began hold

Oct 2025: changed from liquid to powder and accidentally took 10x Seroquel dose for 2 weeks by mistake

23 Oct 2025: returned to liquid with accidental 4.7% Seroquel cut

 Holding both drugs to stablize

Holding at Paxil 8.25 mg / Seroquel 6.5

Paxil taper

22/4 8.23  29/4 8.20  5/5 8.15 13/5 8.05  3/6 8 11/6 7.95

Thanks @Rosetta @LostinCanada @gardengirl2 @namastejen1 for the kind words, very much appreciated.

Well awoke on a 1 after 3 hours broken sleep again, not feeling good at all, which is ironic when the car is going

in for recall this morning. So my wave mind is stewing over that big style at the minute. So not many words,

this morning, I will just get the job in hand done.

So sorry @NT1100B 😪. I was going to comment on your 4 rating, and now this happens again. It's like the waves KNOW when you really need a window to get something done, and they hit you with low motivation, low mood and malaise. But you, being the warrior that you are, will think " not today Satan wave", and will get it done anyway, because that's what we do. Praying for extra strength for you today B. When you get home you can rest. Or maybe you'll get a miracle lift today, you sure deserve one!🙏🙏🙏🙏 We are all surrounding you with support.🙌❤️‍🩹❤️

A lot of the time, this is all that can be done- doggedly getting through the days and functioning as best we can, until this gets easier.

There is very good precedent from the stories of others that this does typically get easier in time, although many people experience a long period of treading water before it does. It would certainly seem that you are in this period- my hope would be that in the coming months you begin to notice steadier improvements on average and that in time, it generally becomes easier to get through each day.

It's good that you're doing what you can to function and keep life ticking over. It's not always possible but you're doing what you can.

As the others have said, hopefully you begin to lift later on.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes.

Well folks, after a truly horrible morning, awake from 23.30 last night, I am back from Carlisle with car recall job done.

Now I was on a 1 when I set off at 6.10am, a lot of bridge maintenance  on M6 north of Shap and was blocked with an

accident yesterday. So got parked outside garage 7.15am, but by 7.40 mechanics were coming in and opened up.

So a quick chat and yes he said bring it in and we will get on with the job. Brilliant stuff. I was still in a horrible state,

but just sat in reception reading my SA thread. So yes even in such a dire state everything went to perfection.

Roads out of Carlisle were very quiet, or seemed to be, I suppose I was on auto pilot, but damn on the way back

down M6 just south of Carlisle, northbound traffic was at a standstill, another accident.

So yes as I was steadily driving back home, quite a few 40mph and 50mph zones with cameras, I started lifting a

bit, now home on a 3. So yes about 3am this morning I did have serious thought of postponing it again. I was a bag

of nerves when I set off, debating whether or not I was fit to drive.    JOB DONE.
