Thanks @Chippy much appreciated, its just the wave mind can't see any answers yet. PWD renders one

Morning B. I know your PWD is getting damned old. It’s exhausting mentally and physically for sure. Then there’s all of life’s little nagging problems to solve which on a normal day would be not that big of a deal. But when one is so worn and exhausted the simplest mole hill seems like climbing Mt. Everest. But I guess all one can do is take it one minute, hour, day at a time. I wish I had a magic wand I could share. Wishing you the best.

Hi all, well a fairly miserable day fluctuating between 0-3 all day, more lows than highs though, a weird

day really. Now I have been looking at other cars on the internet, but I ain't going to get a huge amount

more than I have paid out on it this last year, with a rough estimate of what this last Bill will maybe be I

will have spent £1800, and asking AI it says I have just repaired most of the hardest wearing parts so.....

So yes my mind has been mulling over that and the motorbike and PWD all day, so hence been miserable                                                              and flat, but every so often lifting a bit....but then dropping again, like I say a weird day. But anyway I will                                                                see how the night goes, damned keyboard is playing up, is that my next breakage????? it won't drop a line                                                            not sure what's  up, so yes it will be another sleep reset, and horrible awakening as NORMAL. But it's onwards                                                    and upwards I plod.                                                           .                                                                                                                                                 Take care all,              B.🤞

It's difficult to make big decisions in this, and it affects our thinking so much.

I try to put off decisions for when my thinking feels at least somewhat clear.

Nothing I say is medical advice, it is simply my opinion. I am an anonymous person on an internet forum with no relevant qualifications other than being badly harmed by a drug. For all you know, I could be an idiot. You are making your own decisions and part of that is deciding how much to listen to my opinion, if at all.

Perhaps you should consider this post an artistic work of fiction written for entertainment purposes.

Story from SA: LukeUK: Remeron/Mirtazapine Severe Withdrawal - Introductions and updates - Surviving Antidepressants

15mg Remeron/Mirtazapine November starting 2022 (severe physical side effects)

Attempted to taper off January 2023, ended up having a major breakdown and going up to 30mg, took weeks to stabilise

1 month taper  to 0mg

Last dose April 2023

Severe withdrawal syndrome with many physical symptoms

Summary: 5 months using Mirtazapine, including 1 month taper ending late April 2023.

I think worrying about money and having that as an added stress doesn’t help at all.

imagine if tomorrow you were gifted 1 million! Your WD wouldn’t go away, but the extra stress, worry and second fear would…

I just think it doesn’t help.

something like that would send me in to a spin too, I had to sort my car when my work car went back in December when I quit the NHS after 9 months sick. I had to order a new car and work out what we could afford and just doing the paperwork was so exhausting!

I’ve lifted in to a dirty window today from about 10.30am. Fingers crossed it lasts. It’s the best window I’ve had for 2.5 weeks xx

- Compazine injury following surgery used as an anti nausea drug Feb 2023, led to agitation and racing thoughts

- tried to cope med free, advised to start Prozac May 2023 20mg

- made me worse but was told to persevere, believe I had an adverse reaction.

- February 2025 came off 1.5mg due to feeling good and didn’t know this would lead to such strong WD

Sorry that you’ve had a tough day B, not surprising as others have said with the stress and worry over the car. I hope you can give yourself some grace over the fact that you’ve navigated a tough week with alot of strength and determination and are understandably rung out from it.

Sending you some ease 🙏, take care

3 weeks Paxil around 2002 I think can’t really remember. CT no issues except for a few head zaps.

1 day Citalopram Dec 2017

10/07/25 - Mirtazapine 7.5mg

19/07 - 15mg, 01/08 7.5mg, 15/08 dissolving orodispersible tablets for easier measuring 6mg, 22/08 5mg, 04/09 4mg, 18/09 3mg, 02/10 2.5mg, 16/10 2mg, 30/10 1.5mg, 13/11 1.2mg taper paused due to WD symptoms, had a window 17th March continuous improvement until early June when I went back into a moderate but manageable wave after overdoing things until early July when taking omeprazole for gastritis pushed me into another bad wave. Still waiting to stabilise before proceeding with taper.

Supplements - 100mg magnesium glycinate daily.

Other meds - Omeprazole 20mg a day when gastritis flares - realised after taking this for 8 days end of June ‘26 I was experiencing some WD symptoms again and researched to find PPIs block the liver enzymes used to metabolise a lot of antidepressants artificially raising blood levels. Stopped omeprazole and 2 weeks later back into a bad wave as my body has reacted as if I’ve updosed and then dropped again.

Post menopausal GP has prescribed HRT but have not started as don’t want to confuse my system while tapering.

Sept 1993 Began paroxetine 20 mg for anxiety and depression- worked like a charm.

1st taper - Aug 1995 tapered over 3 weeks before getting pregnant- great at first, crashed at one month. White knuckled it through 2 miscarriages. Spring 1996 (?) Reinstated paroxetine 20 mg.

2nd taper- Spring 2008 tapered off paroxetine over 4 months. Summer 2008 crashed horribly, nearly incapacitated by WD; Summer 2008-Summer 2009 tried 4 different ADs, none as effective as paroxetine.  Summer 2009 Reinstated 20 mg paroxetine, not as effective as previously.

3rd taper- Jun 19, 2019 began 10 mg paroxetine, 10 mg fluoxetine for one week. Jun 26 20 mg fluoxetine, 5 mg paroxetine for one week. Jul 3- 20 mg fluoxetine + lorazepam (0.5 mg) as needed up to 2x/day. Aug 12- 30 mg fluox; Sept 3- .5 mg clonazepam daily; end lorazepam; Sept 5- 40 mg fluox;

End of 2019- returned to paroxetine 20 mg/day most of the year, 30mg/day in the winter.

BEGIN 4th TAPER ATTEMPT: Jul 13 2025- 30 -> 25 mg; 10 Sept -> 22.5mg;  3 Oct -> 20 mg; 10 Oct -> hold 2 weeks; 2 Nov -> 19.5 mg; 9 Nov -> 19 mg; 16 Nov -> hold 1 week; 22 Nov -> 18.6 mg; 30 Nov -> 18.2 mg; 7 Dec -> hold 1 week; 14 Dec -> 17.8 mg; 21 Dec -> 17.5 mg; 28 Dec -> 17.1 mg; 4 Jan 2026 -> 16.7 mg -> hold 2 weeks ; 28 Jan -> 16.4 mg; 1 Feb -> 16.0 mg; 8 Feb -> 15.7 mg; 15 Feb -> hold 2 weeks; 1 Mar -> 15.5 mg; 8 Mar -> 15.2 mg; 15 Mar -> hold; 5 Apr -> 14.9.

Thanks @Luke yes that's wise thinking, No decisions with a wave mind.

The thing is by the the time this bill is paid, as I said above, I won't get a huge amount more for it, the

one that's the fear is the bloody electric hand brake, according what I have seen online it can be manually

unwound, some mechanism in the boot, I will confirm this when I pick the car up. So that and starter motor.

Tyres are as new, I already have new brake pads ready waiting for front brakes. SO a tricky one.🤔

Morning all, long back off my 3.30am walk, wet out this morning so brolly needed, but rain eased as I got home.

So I awoke on a 1 this morning feeling horrible as normal, but I have lifted to a 3 now, so 🤞 how the day pans out.

Keyboard, touch wood seems to be back to normal this morning, when I shut it down last night I went over it with

the hoover, quite a lot of crumbs on it.🤣

So what's today going to bring? I don't think my car will be fixed today, although it shouldn't take long to fit an alternator.

Well that's if that was the problem and there isn't other things wrong. But no, I think now it will be that, as the battery

should have been charged with a 120miles run. So 🤞. Decisions on the motorbike this week as well, but really I didn't

want to spend on another car when I need the money for living expenses while still in PWD.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Spoke too soon with keyboard, playing up again. Surely not MORE expense. Well the day is deteriorating  already, not good

Oh well it will be what it will be, lets just keep plodding.🤞

Hope your day improves  @NT1100B
Just thinking, do you get out for fresh air at sunrise?
That can help the brain the most to regulate sleep, going out at sunrise then getting as much light during the day as possible.

Just wondering if you’d try a 6am walk and catch the daybreak 🤷🏼‍♀️ may be worth a shot.  My sleep had improved since November but in this wave I’m still walking with morning cortisol sadly. I’ve tried the adrenal shot before bed with Himalayan sea salt in water but that doesn’t seem to help! It was worth a try though hey!!

my dirty window lasted most of yesterday and I was hopeful I’d wake up today without the intense agitation but sadly it’s here…previous windows it’s not there in the mornings, so clearly my wave is not yet over.

we go down to Heathrow today and off on holiday first thing tomorrow. Hoping I’m not in a wave or not sure I’ll get through the flight to be honest my agitation has been so insanely high in this wave. Probably the worst for a long time.

Hoping your day lifts and hoping mine turns in to a dirty window again, 🙏 can cope with these mornings if I know it may lift!

hope you sort the keyboard

i can’t cope with any stress in a wave.

for me when I go in to a window it’s like a switch is flicked and this agitation and heavy feeling in my stomach just lifts and poof I’m 80% better. It’s so so weird one day I want it to go poof and never return!!

Hi all, well stayed on a 3 today, and up and down day again really don't, I had to take the spare key to the garage because the boot lock was faulty, so a reprogramming job with that. Electrical gremlins. So wasn't feeling good, but motorcycle got a blast out, and it was dry, no road salt so time will find what problems ale the car. Not going to be cheap though. So I will see what sleep I get tonight, but still in a wave so it will be another reset and horrible wake up. But still PLODDING.

Take care all,       B🐫

Morning all, back off my 4am walk showers again so brolly needed, 6c so not too cold.

So awoke on a 1 after 4 hours broken sleep, not improved one jot yet. Horrible awakenings and

life not worth nothing at the moment. So still on a 1 now so wave still very much active, 2026 is

even worse than last year. Car could probably end up been scrapped, motorbike will be sold and

I will end up on foot. So with still no end anywhere in sight for PWD things are looking grim.

Take care all,            B.
