Hi @Dnepr1234, thank you for contacting me. Mélatonine didn't help me. I will try magnesium this night. The tragedy is that the symptoms don't decrease but new appear during the night like legs and right ear pain. And in the morning the nausea is awful. What a mess, what a Hell. And what about you?

Hi @skamen Svetla. Sorry you are suffering so much for so long. I seem to be getting worse rather than better. I’ve been at the same dose for 112 days but my sxs are getting worse. I think it’s an adverse drug affect rather than WD. I’m fearing for my life.

I hope you get some relief soon. You certainly deserve it and your body needs it. What you’re going through is hard on one’s body.

Oh, @Pokey449, what a Hell. I cannot sleep, I have stomach, muscle and right ear pains, horrid nausea, brain fog, depersonalization, I have the feeling to be in a aquarium, it is not my reality. It is so long and so intense, Pokey. I am not functional, deep depression, 24/7 I am in agony and terror.

I am not a medical professional but thinking logically it seems that your both poisons interfere. Can you consult someone on this?

It is not a life, Pokey, I never have thought that one day I will be in such a Hell. I don't have any psychiatric illness, my life was always beautiful and successful. I have experienced a situational depression and was put in AD. Was told that there are not addictive. I wasn't thinking about the drug, I was taking it without concern and have lived my personal and professional life with happiness. But came the day when the drug stopped working, and my present disaster starts...

I pray for relief for all of us.

@skamen Hi Svetla. How are you? I’m going through hell currently. I know you’ve often mentioned having cortisol spikes. Can you tell me what symptoms you have when you have them. I think that’s what I’ve been having at night. Im waking with god awful waves of a creepy crawly feeling going through my body that causes me to draw up into a ball. Plus im nauseated, headache. Terrible awful waves. The waves repeat until I get up and then I can hardly walk. What do your cortisol spikes feel like??

What a misery, @Pokey449, a real Hell. I think that what you describe are the awful cortisol/adrenaline surges. All the night I have these waves of creepy feeling which crushes my chest, a real feeling of dying, also horrid nausea. This terror doesn't allow me to stay in bed.

My family wants to fly in September (with me) to Europe. My husband bought the tickets. For the moment I cannot imagine to do this, my CNS is so sensitive, I cannot sleep, I am in constant terror... What a Hell, Pokey...

@skamen Svetla. I’ve been wanting to make the short flight to see my family in another state and have had to postpone the trip. I just don’t feel like dealing with the stress of travel and being away from the safety & familiarity of my home. Plus I don’t want to drag my misery to my daughter’s house. But I’m sick n tired of being alone too. This hell makes being alone that much more difficult though. I hate getting up in the night to a dark & very quiet lonely house. I can’t fathom flying to Europe now, but that of course is your call.

@skamen , Hi Svetla, I just had to stop by your page and see how you are doing. I'm glad you're off the drugs now. The acute phase is the worst, it can get challenging you can do this. The drugs are out of your body now, so it now the real healing can begin from all the adverse reactions. Please keep surviving for those that you love, and for yourself. You are constantly in my prayers. You will start having glimpses again, give it some time, they will slowly but surely start to happen. Much love your way. ❤️🙏❤️

@skamen Hi Svetla. You often speak of having horrible cortisol spike symptoms at night. I was wondering if you be willing to share what your somatic symptoms are when you are having those spikes. I’m have some very miserable sxs at night that I’m attributing to possible cortisol issues but I’m not sure if that’s what’s going on or not. I’m worried about some other possibilities and am trying to sort things out.

I hope you are getting some respite and peace. Lord knows you deserve it.

@Pokey449, these spikes are horrific. They come with wave of terror + sweat + skin itching + heartbeat + lack of breath, a pure agony, a feeling of dying. True misery.

Last night I didn't sleep at all, 0 hours...

@skamen Hi Svetla. Thanks for the feedback. I guess I shouldn’t complain, I got 4.5hrs of sleep last night but I awoke 2x feeling absolutely awful. A creepy crawly feeling coming & going in waves causing me to draw my body up into a ball. Nausea, headache, pain, feeling exhausted. Fear of dying!! Finally got up at 615 Tried to do some light yard work just now & pooped out quickly.

I was taking the doxepin in 2 split doses. Per Horowitz’s advice I’ve been slowly moving the doses towards each other so as to only be taking a single dose. Maybe when I’ve finished with that I’ll stabilize but my body is telling me it’s more than WD. That all is not well with having 2 ADs in my body, stabilized or not. I should have refused allowing that to happen but the damned psych docs should have known better. All they know to do is to give out pills w/o considering all the possible affects. Thats their total M.O. I have no respect left for psych docs. They are no more than drug pushers.

I’m so sorry you are suffering so badly. I think of you often. Amazed & saddened at what you are dealing with. I’ll keep you in my nightly prayer 🙏

@skamen my worst symptoms are at night too. Chemical.emotions, prickling skin, crawling uncomfortable feeling, need to rock in bed sometimes, sweating. I am bad during the day too but nights are awful. @Pokey449 I do think your symptoms are WD. The night time awful stuff seems fairly common.

Thank you, @Dnepr1234, for asking. My nights are full of adrenaline terror. I can have some broken sleep somehow but the feeling of dying is unbearable. In addition horrific depression, anhedonia. The intensity of the Hell is inhumane. And you?

Hi @skamen Svetla, yeah……I hear you. A lot of the same for me, cortisol rush every morning as soon as I wake up, severe fatigue, difficulty breathing, inner Akathisia, brain fog, no memory. Too many to list. Just torture. I get windows for a few hours here and there.

I hope you start getting better sleep soon. I pray for all of us.🙏❤️

Hello @skamen , I sometimes wonder what the meaning of all this suffering is, if there is one. In fact, I hope it will be made good one day, in this life or maybe the next one, if there is one. I hope your healing will be up to all that you endure.

Thank you to all of you, @MischaDE, @poulette38 and @Nemina. The suffering is endless and unbearable. I don't know how I pass from one day to the next one. I never have endured such a Hell and I don't know when this horror will end... I try to stay alive only for my daughter.
