April 27Apr 27 Author Update 10:00pmI'm out of the tough part, no burning sensation, restlessness, heart palpitations and desire to jump out of my skin but still extremely tired, unmotivated, kind of anhedonia.Wasn't able to do much today, went to work but with fatigue and mind that wandered to anywhere other than work so retired early, came home did the necessaries and fell asleep for two hours, in the evening went to the vet to vaccinate my dog which required so much of energy, I really had to force myself, all the trivial things are so difficult to do.Currently, the same.Physically, digestion is better, tinnitus has decreased significantly today which hasn't happened in months and muscle pain is almost non-existent, so here are the positives and gratitude for them. That's it for today, we'll keep moving forward with our heads held high. April 28Apr 28 Author Update 22:00pmBack to brutality..Night full of vivid nightmares, woke up with my entire upper body tense and painful, strong headache with pressure started not long after, later joined in joint pain throughout the body with extreme sensitivity to noise and light, mind was also very dark and chaotic. In the middle of the day I forced myself to go to the therapist, this is the third time we have met and although she is kind, she is a "classic" without a single clue what wd is, we talked about the process and she couldn't stop digging for a hidden reason, it exhausted me even more considering I explained in advance that I was in this process, when offered to study the subject in depth she pretty much waved it off which will probably lead to our end.very frustrating that there is not a single professional here who has any idea what this process is which makes this brutal journey even more difficult, I may try online coaches as Angie Peacock but we will see what my pocket can afford..As of now, body and mind are very restless, muscles and head are still sore with tinnitus that has returned in full force.Let's hope for an easier day tomorrow. We continue to march forward.. April 28Apr 28 I hope you can find some support with Angie Peacock per @Finni 's post. I know finding a therapist who understood the reality of WD was key to my recovery. Started Paxil for GAD in 1999 Unsuccessful taper attempt in 2006 Paxilprogress helped with a successful taper completed in 2009 Using therapy and CBT to manage my anxiety  I offer advice based on my experience. Nothing I share is intended to be medical or therapy advice.Â

April 29Apr 29 I personally don't believe in conventional therapy.I was always autistic and pretty intelligent, therapy never helped for me as just talking out or whatever just didn't work, and I been through a lot of psychologists and what not as a kid and teen and adult. The best therapy was my own mental works, those ones actually did a difference, most psychologists do non practical bs that doesn't achieve anything, it may work for many people but not for me.
