Dear @namastejen1, thank you for asking. Yes, I have dropped from .3 mg to .27 mg since 10 days now. My sleep is still broken by the hellish adrenaline rushes, and the morning I am in awful dread. Anhedonia, depression, hopelessness, fatigue... don't quit me. But the drop didn't worsen my 12 month hell, I am in the same terror. 

I was asking me how you are able to function with more Mirtazapine than me (.4/.27)? Do you feel good? Is it the CT for me which does my state unbearable? Is it the iatrogenic anhedonia which threw me in this Inhumane state? Indeed, my profound wish is to eliminate Mirtazapine from my brain. I hate this poison.

Thank you, @NT1100B, for your encouragement. It is so hard to keep going being in such a Hell. The adrenaline rushes torture me all the he night, I wake up in chemical terror, in hellish doom, it is a real agony. What a mess, I hate Mirtazapine, I hate the psychiatry, how is it possible to prescribe such a poison to the patients?

How are you ? Do you still feel anhedonia, or it's better sometimes? 

 

A little advice that seems very simple but I haven’t seen reflected in your messages (and you told me you were in your home frequently): do you exercise? I mean, daily walking under the sun, for example? It helps a lot, I promise you. With all my prayers.

not that it really matters I’m just wondering if it was the mirtazapine that brought on more of the adrenaline rushes and cortisol surges? 

I’ve never experienced anything like it until my Mirtazapine dose changed…

 

Or is this just common in antidepressant withdrawal?

Hi @Finni, the adrenaline rushes are linked to the PWD. The are my most horrible symptom, all the he night with hot flashes + hellish depression.

Sorry to be away for a time again...but we got sick here at the end of the week and still not 100% today. I try to get on and post a few replies when I can with my work and kiddo schedules. I am so sorry that this is such a rough road for you. I think it is all the other CTs that are causing problems. They probably run on different receptors too. So it's like all of them need to aggressively heal at the same time you are tapering Mirt, which s#cks. I pray that they heal in due time and you start to feel some relief.

I wonder if you can channel your fighting spirit against all of this into activism or helping others...actually I know you can, we all can. It's a warrior's spirit! Blessings my friend!
