05/20/2026- another .0002g drop.

Another sleepy night, but feeling a little mild anxiousness in the body. I am still in bed and feels both symptoms of relaxed calm brain, breathing very calmly, but different parts of brain and body with mild anxiousness sensation.

However, it's being 10 consecutive days where I sleep better and past my 6am mark. I woke up at 7am to take my dose and went back to sleep.

I also feel a little fear sensation in the background, but very manageable.

Let see how I do. A lot of things to do around the house. There was a tornado in the area. I found one of my kids trampoline in my far away neighbor, and now will hunt for the second one that I don't see anywhere close to my house..... 😂

Overall, drop from.0714g (4.78mg) to .0712g (4.76mg) which it is about .28% cut for now.

It sounds like it's going almost completely smoothly, that's so encouraging, however if I were you I would continue in tiny percentages so as not to disrupt the relative stability.

So pleased for you @Raymond may it continues that well!

This year, I will go slow, but I will increase as my system gets stronger. I can't go this tiny cut forever, because, then, it will take 20 years to reach to zero. I will just go as I feel my body, but not to cut more than 3% eventually to finish in five years at least...

You're right, I spoke out more of my own fear of the last 2.2% reduction I dared which was brutal, but my experience will not be indicative of yours and the doses can certainly vary. Just keep trusting yourself and being attentive to your body, that's the best we can do.

You are doing amazing. You have had good cuts and I a lower dose. I am just testing waters and see what percentage will be good for me. When I did my first 1.4% cut, I did good, but I believe my system was still adjusting. Now, I'm just going slow because I think it takes many months to two or three years for system to adjust to normal, so I am going to cut slowly first, vlet my system knows that I'm doing cuts, before eventually cutting 3 to 5%. Very tiny cuts will take 20 years to get out and still have 20 years on waves. The only way out is to try to get out of the medication and allow system to reset back to normal. It's bad, but if symptoms are manageable, we just need to continue Tapering off. I'm hoping that as I go down, my symptoms fades way as my body takes more control of it ..

Crazy journey, but the only way out is thru the pain....

05/21/2026- better sleep continues...

Last night, I went to sleep around 9pm and slept until 7am when the alarm went off for my dose. I slept straight through without interuptions. I had this nice deep breathing that I haven't experienced in long time.

Also, after my drop, I noticed again that I felt better instead of bad. Every drop I do, my body reacts better. It's like , my drops are doing the opposite. I still get my waves as usual, but I just noticed again that my drops makes me feel better...

Let's continue praying and hoping God helps me...

@Nemina thanks for your support. I finally see better sleep improvement and waves seems to be little weaker and shorter. I still have mild intrusive thoughts and anxiousness once in a while but nothing huge so far.

I am considering in another week to cut 2% which I have never done. The most I cut was 1.4% three times and I did well ❤️‍🩹 until month 10 hit me with old symptoms and hold for 6 months. I don't think the old symptoms were related to my taper. I think , my system just went back and did a deeper healing...

I have to try 2% cut. I'm just still scared about it.....

How much are you cutting so far?

I have started a new cutting method. I am working with a dilution and now I bought an expensive Pipette that can measure with extreme precision. So now I drop daily very small bits. I have a solution in which 1 ml contains 0.4878 mg of active ingredient. I take about 0.6 ml per day. Each day I reduce the dose by 0.0012 ml (by turning the wheel on the pipette twice) – this corresponds to 0.2 % of my initial daily dose. After 10 days I will have reduced it by 2 %, and after 30 days by 6 %. So far it is working well. I have had days with no reduction, but this is the plan now, to go constant. When the dose gets smaller I can turn the wheel once and have smaller reductions and of course I can make the dilution thinner. This way I am trying to stress the system only with very little steps. When symptoms are ramping up I will stop and wait. In general I feel better since month nineteen, but I have bad days still, just not always, and sometimes really bad nights with cortisol alarm feeling.

It seems that we have been in the same journey...you are doing great. The cortisol is definitely a bad symptom. It really makes a difference when I can sleep better..

05/22/2026- recovery process continues..

Yesterday was a great day with very minimal symptoms. I really felt a lot more normal than any other day.

I slept well, but I did wake up few times a night with intrusive thoughts, but felt back to sleep until my alarm time at 630am. Then, I went back to sleep until 830am.

I also continued feeling this deep breathing that I haven't felt in the longest time. It's the second consecutive day that I feel this in my 18 months journey.

Overall, let's see how I will be. I still feel Little bit morning anxiousness and it's because my stomach feels little off this morning. I noticed that when the stomach is off, it gets me the bad symptoms. The good thing is that it usually resolves quickly.

Now, im going to the movie theater with the family to see the mandalorian..... 😂 I'm still a star wars fan although I don't like Disney taking over the franchise. It's not the same as like films...so, let see how it looks....

08/01/2009- Klonopin 1mg, but took only .25mg when needed, and end up taking every day for 3 years. 08/01/2012 - Paraxotine 20 mg

First tapering 07/01/2025 = 1.2% , 09/01/2025 - another 1.4%. 10/01/2025- 4.79mg (.0716g) holding until further notice........04/17/26 resumed taper 0714g (4.78mg). 05/20/2026- .0712g (4.76mg, .28% cut). 06/09/2026- .0708g (4.73mg .56% cut). 06/30/2026 - .0706g (4.72mg .33%). 07/28/2026 - .0700g (4.68mg, .85%).09/01/26 - .0698g (4.66mg, .29%).

Still progressing amazingly, some annoying symptoms are just part of it, as long as it is tolerable it is good.

You are coping so well @Raymond

1998 forced on cipramil *no anxiety/depression background*

Thanks @Fullhealing . It seems this morning is going to be different. To much things on my head and that doesn't support my sensitive system. I'm glad I'm doing well, but wow, I still have a long way. I wish I can avoid a lot of situations, but it's not possible.

I slept from 1030pm to 530am again. I woke up with intrusive thoughts. Let see if I can continue sleeping...

Update....

I noticed the following pattern early morning.... anxious and changed to little fear sensation to anxiety to fatigue to chest pressure to sleepy feeling....all symptoms were fluctuating and lasting no more than 30 minutes in some of them.

Problem number one is my stomach bloating sensation.

Based on that pattern, I think waves are shorter even though they still bothers me...

Drinking ginger lemon tea and hot chicken broth...

05/24/2026- 2 days waking up again at 530am after 11 consecutive days waking up passing 7am.

Yesterday, I had a little bad morning with anxiety and little mild fear sensation. The stomach felt bloated. Symptoms were fluctuating from anxiety to chest pressure to hot sensation to sleepy like every 30 minutes. By the afternoon hours, I started to feel better and sleepy. I went to sleep at 10pm and I slept through to 530am when the brain woke me with the anxiety again. The good thing that has not changed is that I am continuing to sleep through without waking up between 10pm and 530am. I also still feels the deep breathing sensation.

This morning cortisol is being on and off during my 18 months journey.

This morning feels slow, but I think it's better than yesterday. Let see how things goes.

In the name of Jesus, we will all heal.

Morning a little bumpy ride, but now, I'm seating at a BbQ place eating a nice full loaded potato with brisket with wife and no kids...... 😂

Won't complain
